I still want the DSR so, I don't think it would be wise to move on to the previous Nvidia drivers. Tongue2

Nvidia didn't accept the bug report since, the bug wasn't produced in any native PC games.

they refused to accept it as bug do to emulators nature which it it ilegal in there eyes even if you own the game and consoles and dump your own bios etc, and refused to work with the dev to find middle ground.

I current drivers too cause this bug isnt worth stay on old drivers.

But like said in earler post i found something interesting.

VP2 has this stretching/zooming happening if the nvidia hack isnt used (DX11 issue), but if you uncheck the nvidia hack. and boot the game up in progressive mode. the zooming/stretching stops

I have no other game that has this issue that actual also has a progressive mode. so i curious to know what other game that support progressive mode that have this stretching/zooming issue has the issue solved by activing progressive mode.

If so what is happening beside the obvious progressive output being used that make the nvidia hack unneeded

Star Ocean 3 has the issue and also has a progressive mode.

I've only been running in progressive and I've not seen the issue at all, even with hack off.

It is known to occur in the game though.

Does the stretch/zoom actual happen in DX11 with the hack off in progressive mode? or does it only happen with the hack off and interlaced mode? that is what i trying to figure out. cause in VP2 in progressive mode with Dx11 and the hack off the zooming/stretching dont happen.

Which makes me thing it only effect interlaced games which alot of ps2 games.

I already answered that questions - it happens with the hack off only in interlaced mode as far as I can tell.

And yes 98% or more of PS2 games are interlaced. They were designed for CRT after all.

i ask again cause your first post kind confused me.

so question becomes why is progressive out games dont have this issue other but interlaced does, other then the obivous?

just made an account to report in that the bug is still active, and the "nvidia fix" does absolutely nothing, on either a 550ti or a 770.

progressive scan makes no difference either. though one interlace option oddly makes games much more colorful.

The Nvidia hack does work. Many users have vouched for it.

Are you sure you have HW hacks enabled?

i indeed do. and it has no effect with current drivers, or the past year or two worth of drivers, on any of my cards. even my intel HD onboard chipset has this issue.
