PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches
@devina40:
A folder for NTSC-K is missing.
If you're up for it, 99skull (http://forums.pcsx2.net/User-99skull) should be able to tell too which patches that are of this region.

@99skull:
This is why you should include the regioncode (NTSC-K) in the comments of your patches, yes?

Alright, updated the patches and made a NTSC-K folder.

I also added a "requests" section so that developers will know which games they can work on.

I was thinking that if people successfully make a patch for a requested game, they can get a shout-out, honorary mention or rep to add some fun. Happy

Well, I've no games left to patch for requests at the moment Tongue, but by sharing the method for creating them we have over 300+ games patched now.

Did that nemesis2000 guy ever explain how he was going about finding those elf addresses? I haven't really looked into that, I've been too busy with college the last few months (was my final year)

Almost 400, actually.

And yeah, it'd be nice to have nemesis' assistance now that we have a collection going, since I know for a fact that I missed some of his patches that weren't in .pnach form on his site.

Okay, they'll be included in the next update.

We're now lacking patches for both FFX and FFX: International (NTSC-J versions).
I know Asmodean made some here, but they were lacking the game CRC and weren't in .pnach format.

A reminder to everyone: if you want your patches included, they must be in a downloadable .pnach file.

Thanks, I also found it for the regular FFX NTSC-J version so we're good. Both .pnachs are added.

I wonder what those patches do.
Do they trigger/enable a disabled/hidden/unused mode inside the game's code or pretty like what GSMode Selector does.
The latter I find it a bad idea for PCSX2 but the first one should be cool, I know that there are a couple of games that have that but I don't remember FFX being one so that's why I had to ask.

I tested FFX-inter (NTSC-K) progressive patch a little.
It works with progressive mode in gsdx plugin.(native x2)

But, unfortunately it seems like there are no difference between before and after patch.
