okay, thank you for clearing that up

though it would still be possible cuz' if you have black areas in playing in ws or because of black bars in 4:3 you would at least have no black bars in areas where it's possible,

or you enlarge the picture so you don't see the blacktivity(that would meaning losing what's up and below, though).

In the patch archieve, there are two files. 2615F542.pnach and F60255AC.pnach
Actually, 2615F542 and F60255AC are exactly same game. FM5 NTSC-J's crc code is 2615F542. Some gamer made a english patch. After patching, 2615F542 change to F60255AC.

I made a 2615F542.pnach, but F60255AC.pnach remains in old version(needs render fix). I checked archieve just moment ago.

if your game crc is F60255AC.pnach, change 2615F542.pnach's name to F60255AC.pnach.

Thanks for the response. I am indeed using the English patch with the game, and I changed the patches name to F60255AC. Sadly that doesn't work for the problems the ground has rendering. Everything else seems fine.

Edit- It's worth noting this only happens when the camera "zooms in", as is the case with action sequences or when talking to people at the base. Also, it seems to happen on every level.

Your snapshot looks like a survival simulator. So I tried to see the problem, but I couldn't see. Here is my play.

pcsx2-r5640+gsdx5632(just latetest version)
EE speed hack=2
direct3d9
scaling 2xNative
any other setting is default

I tested several maps including survival simulator, battle simulator, mission15, mission17 more than an hour. It looks normal.
Does that problem need other conditons or happen at Specific stage?

Well, I do notice you are playing the original Japanese version. So, I can only assume the patched English game has the value for the floor fix in a different place? I can mess with some other ideas.

I checked at loading, the game is crc=0xF60255AC. SLPM_662.05

I'll get back to you after doing some more testing.

Edit- So I downloaded the archive of patches from Devina40's link, overwrote the old patches and it now works. Not really sure what happened there, but all's well that ends well. Thanks a ton 99skull, this already awesome game is better thanks to you. +rep
