I have used the french patch but it is not proper 16:9 it just makes de FOV wider but it still 4:3.

Did you rename the CRC from France to Spain? Usually if you do that, it'll work.

I'm not immediately going to play either game tomorrow (currently playing Tales of Destiny), but on the topic of requests those are two prominent RPG titles i notice are still missing.

According to the "Games with in-game 16:9" list, both of those titles already have in-game 16:9. Might want to double check that.

I can try, but keep in mind, porting FMVs from region to region is a bit trickier.

Updated archive.

Didn't realize Sonic Heroes needed a widescreen patch, Nemesis. The site I looked at before (HDgames.net) says it already supports 16:9, so either you made a patch that didn't made to be made, or HDgames.net is incorrect.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 NTSC-U and PAL seem to share the same CRC.

The PZ1 Cinematics issue (with vertical lines) only shows at 2x resolution,
so no: The game doesn't NEED the 00185B40 patch, but 2x sure looks better, so why not support 2x (if possible).
There are other stuff in PZ1 with vertical lines that the patch doesn't fix, such as apparitions, but again only with 2x (or higher).

The 0017ACD0 patch only improves the Cutscenes (that I know of), again with 2x.
PZ2 has no other particular problems at 2x (that I know of).

The new PZ2 FMV-fix seems to work without problems however, please clarify what the 00340DDC patch does - why it's needed.

Hoping someone can help me with a request. I'd like a widescreen patch for Kingdom Hearts NTSC-J (SLPS_25105) with the CRC DB557147. I tried changing the CRC of the NTSC-U pnach to the CRC of the NTSC-J version, with no success.

I used the PCSX2-WideScreen tool by Hyakki, and it seems to enable widescreen instantly (at least for the 3D world) when I begin scanning the 3xxx range with the settings shown here: http://i.imgur.com/9BPYbQp.png?1. It seems the value it's changing to achieve this is dynamic, so it can't be used in a pnach file or some such, as it tells me with this: "300ABB6C - 3F2AAAAB // 3F4CCCCD (Dynamic addr unusable w/pnach)"

Can anyone help me out with this? I'd really like to play the Japanese version in all its wide-screened glory.
