Bumping my post in this thread since nobody really answered me if it's possible to get this fixed or not. Not an expert on these WS hacks.

For one, the targeting icons on enemies, etc, aren't in the right position. They're to the sides of it.

Another thing is that the minimap is completely broken in this. The arrow is always stuck on the left side, making it very confusing of where you actually are. It's like the entire minimap is just shifted to the left.

Think this could get fixed maybe?

I'm making the widescreen patch for the game Splashdown (PAL) (SLES-50486).

I encountered the needed values and one render fix which fixes the
appearance of random graphical glitches.

//Gameplay 16:9
patch=1,EE,00256C38,word,3C023F40 //3C023F80 Zoom
patch=1,EE,00214BFC,word,3C023FAB //3C023F80 Y-FOV
patch=1,EE,00214E00,word,3C033F2B //3C033F00 Render fix 1

But there is something strange with the water of the game, check the images:

Seems the game needs another render fix for expand the water, but
i don't encountered nothing which fixes it

If somebody can take a look on it and fix the water would be
very appreciated.

Best regards.

@whitoxx
radar icons position in Federation vs Zeon depends from the aspect ratio, so i can't fix it.

Thanks!

But we can't make a Stretch Panic .pnach?

For Dolphin, I'd be interested in widescreen codes for:

- Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask (The GameCube collector's version)
- Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
- Sonic Adventure 1 (some water effects, like the pool, are screwed up when using Dolphin's hack) (And I know the game is on Steam, but it's not widescreen compatible)

All NTSC-U. That's about it. Tongue
I'll put the codes on Dolphin Wiki.

It doesn't actually work, I just made that .pnach as a placeholder.
I don't think the code for the first game works either. So the entire SOCOM series for NTSC-U could use a re-do.

If you guys are going to seriously work on Dolphin patches then you should make a new thread lest it get lost in this one(and it doesn't really belong in this one anyway)

Even if I track these codes for each level,there is the highest guarantee that the game will be broken.
so i think we can put iso hack in the wip section for people who need it.
I'm not saying that the patch is absolutely impossible,it's just beyond of my abilities. maybe someone more skilled or lucky be able to do it

If not a .pnach, is there an alternative?
A modified .elf file you can send me?
A patcher to patch the .iso?

Anything? Tongue
