Apply this patch to improve the HUD in the US version of Tales of the Abyss when playing in widescreen. Most menus are left aligned due to the fix requiring another 100 lines and not having enough room in the patch format. Place names when you enter them for the first time are left aligned. This does not work as an ELF patch due to the enable conditions being required due to the game's overlay system for battles and the world map. Minor slide in issues exist with portraits on some skits with them not going fully offscreen when they should. A glitched bloom effect is also removed.

I guess its a long shot but could anyone increase the LOD in pes 2008 euro version? when playing on normal long camera view a lot of small details disappear.
There are LOD hacks for the older PC versions maybe its possible to increase it on PS2 versions too? here is the SLES file if anyone could have a look id be grateful (I believe it already has the widescreen hack included)

Are you using an older version of TMHOETE's widescreen hacks? In reply #6.164, @gamemasterplc updated the original hacks to decrease the font width and reposition certain text that ties into the HUD.
As far as the other remaining issues go... At some point in the future I'll release an updated version of this game's widescreen hacks that bring it in line with the ones I've previously released for War of the Monsters and Twisted Metal: Black - including positioning fixes for radar coordinates (so they don't overflow beyond the radar HUD's circle), centering the 3D weapon models in the bottom-right HUD box and thinning out the mini health bars/triangles that appear above enemy vehicles.
If I had it my way, the first iteration of the TMHOETE widescreen hacks would've had all of the aforementioned fixes built-in. But it would've come out much later. At the time @gbit first asked about widescreen hacks for that game, I hadn't yet reached that point. So I decided to make a quick release of an early/experimental pnach I had at the time. What I have by now is much more advanced, but isn't release-worthy just yet.
