Hi! I have a question about the patch for Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria- US. I read on the forum and a lot of member said that using cheat will corrupt the saves data and make it unplayable after chapter 5. Is it safe now to use it or just use some options available.

The Patch right above has not the "Ignore Gameguard" Code so the Game with that Patch will definitely freeze somewhere
by running into Bit-Filter based triggering Traps.

Steambot Chronicles (SLUS_213.44) Extensive blur removal. Plus speed hack shadow based, shadows are still drawn. This allow to play with high blending (required for rain/sea/etc), and no CRC hacks most time. Sadly game seems to highly depend on blending when going between stages, and in triangle menu, so there will be still slowdowns in hardware mode.

Licence hang "fix". 
This patch allow to set FPU and VU clamping to FULL, which is required to fix GT mode text, minor SPS, and in race texts. 
Previously to run licences changing clamping was required to avoid hang (for example licence B4). Now everything work fine without messing with clamping. 

This patch is not perfect solution as it breaks Demonstration Mode for all licences.
Note: Default PCSX2 setting for EE/FPU clamping is normal. You need to set it to full by yourself. VU change itself to correct setting by auto game fixes.

Saying it doesn't work is a lie.... When i FIRST swapped over the game, it worked WONDERS.....
now i am about 3-4 quests in, and no matter what combination/party i have, it either ONLY does 1 character, or none.. not sure if it's a bug with the area I am in, or just in general..

Currently using Pcsx2 1.5.0
