How high can i push pcsx2 settings with this rig?

Specs:
i7 4790k@ 4ghz stock
GTX 1070 8gb
16gb ddr3 2133ghz

Playing demanding games like MGS series or Black or Tekken 5 or GoW, along with some lighter titles like Silent Hill series, I mostly wanna know what graphical settings can i set for an improved ps2 experience.

mgs series 2x or 3x native resolution, not more
Gow & Tekken 5 : 4x/5x native
Black : maybe 2x native
Silent hill series : 2 & 4 should work at 3x/4x native, sh3 maybe 3x native

Hey there, first post...I originally assumed that my laptop isn't powerful enough to run PCSX2 but Redream runs 100% beautifully so I'd figured it's worth posting here for some help. Thanks in advance for any assistance:

amd a6-9225 processor
2.60 GHZ
8 GB ram
DirectX 12

The main game I'd like to play is MVP Baseball 2005 and Silent Hill 2 and 3. Thanks.

Thanks, that's what I was fearing.

Is there a few examples of games that can run on standard laptops? I've done some research and couldn't find anything. Sorry if that's asking too much, didn't mean to -- just wanted to find out if there's a thread on it or somewhere I can do a little research.

A ton, I was collecting PS2 games 10+ years ago and got a ton of now pricey games for cheap.

But I'll obviously narrow it down for you:

Haunting Ground
Gungrave
Killer 7
Rule of Rose
King of Colloseum II
Way of the Samurai
Samurai Western
Wrestle Kingdom

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.

Hope i don't just get a warning .. I've never seen anyone talk about this CPU. How would the Ryzen 2400GE fair with PCSX2?

I am trying to build a small, price conscious, PC dedicated to the emulation of pre HDMI consoles. I mostly play the older stuff but would like the option to do some PS2/GC/Wii.

I was gonna just do an ITX build but they always come out to more than i want to spend. I came across some of the super tiny HP micro PCs coming with the 2400GE (Pro i think). Been keeping an eye on eBay and "open box" ones often go for cheaper than any Ryzen/Vega build i could do (But my build would have the non E CPU).

STR is 1900ish with Vega 11 .. I feel like it would do OK but maybe im missing something?

Cheers Smile

EDIT: I have been playing around on my 6600k/1060, and while i certainly enjoy massive up scaling, i'd be happy with a mere 2x on whatever lil PC i end up with.
