Could be a powerplan thing.
Set it to high performance and don't run on batteries
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 RAM : 16 Go

Hello guys,
Im a complete noob when it comes to PCs and emulating. I managed to install pcsx and Metal gear solid on my laptop and played thru the game in its entirety with relatively few issues. So today I installed pcsx2 1.6.0 and metal gear solid sons of liberty. The game has extremely slow audio with crackling and the video slows down to less than 10 fps. Literally unplayable. I have read thru many forum posts and watched many YT videos on how to fix this and I haven't found any solution to my problem. As I stated, I am a complete noob and I don't understand all the PC jargon and things like that. So please when you reply keep that in mind because I won't understand what is common knowledge to everyone here. Ive included a screenshot of my laptop specs. Mind you its extremely old and just a potato, but its all I have. All I want is to have an enjoyable experience playing Metal Gear. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks for any help. A frustrated Metal Gear fan. |
