I know my video card is a little under par but I never imagined my proc was.

I attached a picture of my audio settings.

If changing the resolution makes no difference, then it's definitely your Processor...your processor is actually fine for most games..but GT4 is very demanding game, hard to emulate , I guess. audio settings are fine.

That sucks. I guess I'll have to deal with it. Game play is fine as is nost everything else, just my garage and certain menus that are messed up like that.

If game play is fine, then it just might be a glitch with your specific version of game.
Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried every setting i cant seem to fix it...

Specs
AMD phenom 2 x2 555 @ 3.8ghz
Radeon HD 4850 512
4 gigs ddr2 ram
Windows 7 x64 Service Pack 1
PCSX2 0.9.8
GT4 USA Version
USA BIOS

EDIT - NVM just fixed it by setting brightness to 0 in-game, which i read in another thread.
Has anyone played GT3? How does GT3 run compared to GT4? Does it require as much PC power as GT4? I miss GT3. One of my favorite racing games back in the day.

Yes, the GT4 engine is pretty much an enhanced version of the GT3 engine with (many) more cars and models and stages but performance wise they're similar.

So for PCSX2 0.9.8 I'm still having this problem to get a license.
I'm using GSdx4600 and still can't run the license test. Is it still a GS problem? Where should I download the latest ZeroGS plugin?

Take care!
Hello,

I have some issues with the last pcsx2 release 0.9.8, it freezes on a black screen, the gamefix with no intro does not work,

Game runs on 0.9.6, but i'd like to try, if it does not run smoother on the new version.

On 0.9.6 I am using a custom patch, which disables the intro, but in 0.9.8 I do not know how to use it, as no patch folder exists, and the auto use of gamefixes does not help

GT4 in PAL version,

Core i3 2.4ghz
4GB RAM
Radeon 5470 1GB
I have a question that perhaps there isn't an answer to.

You have to change the brightness to 0 for the game to work. This, of course, makes the game seem a bit dim. Is there any way around this? I'm guessing someone may say to turn the brightness up on the monitor, but is this really going to make much of a difference since the game brightness is so low? Just curious of there is some kind of a work around.
