Graphics stretch issue with latest nVidia drivers

Basically the hack wiggles the input geometry a bit and that might cause the driver to stop optimizing frames away.
Just my guess though, it could be so many things Tongue2

I appreciate the response.
See, this is why I didn't get into coding. That entire block of code might as well be Japanese for as much as I can't read or understand it. Just giant walls of mathematics and algorithms. Blink

But from my very limited understanding of that code, it looks like Nvidia did something in their drivers to automatically 'adjust' stretching, perhaps for some multi-monitor features that weren't properly calibrated. This wouldn't be the first time that type of thing has happened with their drivers.

Nvidia might have stuffed up precision in the drivers internal vertex compiler.....

ON, nvidia fix works. But what to do with games like tekken 5, which need specific internal resolution to run without black lines. When i enable the hack for this game, problem stops, but black lines appears. Playing in software mode is not a option.

You cam still use a 1200xwhatever custom res.

some games still suffer from the problem also but its less frequent

Thats my point. I use that resolution, to be able to play with good graphics in hardware mode. But when i enable the fix, black lines appear, like i use non-1260 res. I guess this will be the problewm also with Kaido Razer, Tokyo Extreme Racer serios but havent tested yet. Is this possible to be fixed?

I can confirm mroussev's issue. The lines come back in that custom resolution if the nvidia hack in enabled *.*

I don't suppose using 1198, instead of 1200 when the nv hack is enabled would work? lol

Nah, 1198 didn't work. Well, as I look again, with the nvidia hack off and the rez at 1200 x whatever in namco games, I don't get the stretching. So I guess it works out by disabling the nvidia hack for namco games.
