I don't think it's laziness, but rather, lots of people legitimately have no idea what things are, and I wouldn't blame or frown upon anyone for not being able to do stuff like this. When I started, my skills was below zero. And I had only two ways "ask someone" or "do it by myself ". And I have choosed second way. Then I opened ps2sdk and read. After there was a lots of trials and errors, before I recieved the first results.

P.S. and sorry for bad english

https://github.com/ps2dev/ps2sdk
This is the most I could find of it online, and honestly, I have no idea what any of this means, or how to use them to make widescreen patches.
I'm a human, not a supercomputer. If I want to begin something, I need it in Layman's terms.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LaymansTerms
Perhaps make a YouTube video tutorial if you want other people to catch on.
I could even help out, and link to it in the archive's readme like I do for synce's tutorials. Knowledge is power~
Until then, I'll do the most of what I can, in regards to archiving patches and porting them to other regions.

Alright, I'll check it out later.
If you need any help with anything, let me know. Keep up the good work.
Just ported your values for FFX-2 to both Japanese versions in the next update.

I'll check it out. I think I got the code from psx-scene.

(for reference)
I think this is the value causing you misery.

Try changing the "00" to "ff" instead in the .pnach, and it should work.
Not sure why it's causing that?

Not sure why it's causing that? Thanks for the tip! That fixed WA4. ~_^
I had to hex edit GSDX and change the CRC for WA5.

NEW: 070C64C1
I'm now testing the Widscreen patches for WA3, so far so good...

That's good!
Tomorrow, I'll go about making a .pnach for WA5, and Half-Life PAL.
By the way, I was playing FF12 with the new black bar fix.
So in the beginning of the game, Basch turns to Reks and...

NIGHTMARE FUEL.
But then again, this isn't the only Square Enix game that has characters with impossibly thin waists.

About KH2(J), I always prefer the original voice work, and while the disney voices in japanese are indeed terrible, you don't hear them enough for it to be that annoying(except for Mickey, oh gott)- Can't wait for 2.5 Remix, so I can play final mix with japanese voices. And it's cool for whenever you can, just noticed Symphonia is on the request list, which is another one I'm really looking forward to being widescreen.
