Then. i can also argue that , it isnt piracy and is preservation of a game that cannot be played as intended seeing as this is an on-line title with offline servers. but i dont see why a port of the widescreen hack would be out of the question due to an english patch being applied since that all it would be ,presuming that i would be making a legal backup of a Japanese copy . i know the last thing ya'll want is more work but this would be for one of the best case uses for the PCSX2 emulator.

Currently playing Lifeline (NTSC-U). To play the game, you need to use a special USB plugin found here:
https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-New-feat...Hero-games To fix black vertical lines, enable "Align Sprite" hack in HWs. A decent walkthrough for the game is here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/589786...faqs/31906 Here's a cheat for max health (and all 16 chips), because it can be frustrating and hard to play: Quote:patch=1,EE,200FF000,word,3C03003E After playing about 75% of it, I've noticed some parts are misaligned, so I made a special effects fix. I did it by using ELF Search Tool and doing 803f013c to 403f013c, testing to see if it did anything via load states. Quote://Widescreen Before (the monitor looks weird) After Before (the lights are misaligned) After Before (the red glow isn't on the enemy) After Before (the cursor overlay, such as the teacup, isn't on the actual item) After So far, it seems to work fine, but I'd like it if others could play the game and double-test to see if everything works fine. I did notice some weird things. At one point, a monitor can be seen through a wall (in the Manager's Office, about 75 percent into the game). I don't know how much instances like this will happen: The main menu of the game also corrupts using the special effects fix. It's not a big deal since you can eventually find what you're looking for. I'd also like it if a render fix could be made. While the game doesn't desperately need one and is pretty playable without one, sometimes you can tell it needs one during cutscenes and gameplay.

Supposedly they are "zoom-out" and FOV patches, but I still see everything very close (like cropped out), I will give it a second look just in case but I'm not optimistic. The Battlefront patch crashed the game on the last loading screen. |
