Regarding the sound issues, make sure you are basing off sdl and not portaudio. Big difference in quality. Not sure about the gpu stuff. Smile
Yes it's on SDL, portaudio has static sound here Smile
Quote: Certain options works only after relaunch PCSX2 or works bad otherwise. shade boost doesn't works. Texture 8 bits remove filtering texture totally even if forced in option.
Except shade boost, there are all known issues fixed in the latest git.
Indeed, i just tested and except shade Boost, all works. Good Job Gregory then Smile
Congrats! PCSX2 made it into Debian testing.

Hey guys!
I install linux mint 17.2. 64 bit on my new pc yesterday (never used linux before) and wanted to test out PCSX2, since I wanted to run some PS2 games with my new PC. I installed gregorys app package and it started up normally like i was used from windows and let me set the plugins and the bios. When i started the bios the visual output worked out fine but the audio was strangely muffled. I tried running Melty Blood : Actress Again to test the emulator but ran into the same sound issue there. Sometimes the audio got back the normal for some or a long time only to switch back to the static noise.

Any idea what's up with that? I don't think it's a game issue since it already occured in the bios.
Go into the sound plugin settings. Change portaudio to sdl. Much better quality.
