I can't confirm this, but:

confirm that aspect depends on bios settings, but only for 3D, FMV remains 4:3

To get the perfect 16:9 value for any game just multiply the original float by .75 or 1.333 and convert to hex (for 16:10 it's .833 and 1.2)

Yeah, I'm not sure how to do this on my own. Sad

ETA:

Nevermind! I think I found it. Biggrin
The value is 3f1fbe77... I think.

Well, as you may have seen I've tried that game and only found a vertical FOV address (which I posted here). It's probably possible but someone knowing assembler should take a look at it Wink

There is any patch for the "Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love"??
If not, someone could make it? xD

It's best to play it in 4:3, because of all the 2D art and stuff.

You could also check the Wii version. If there's a game both on the PS2 and Wii, it's likely that the Wii version supports 16:9. For example, Okami.

If it still doesn't, using the widescreen hack in Dolphin should make it 16:9 and keep all the 2D art unstretched.

Wii doesn't natively support 16:9, it still upscales it Smile But if the resolution of the Wii is this: 854×480 it is a 16:9 resolution, but it still seems to look a bit stretched to me instead of native.

Wii outputs 720x480, so it's still not true widescreen, but slightly better than PS2's 640x480 I believe.

Regardless, we have emulators like PCSX2 and Dolphin to give us native widescreen.

Maybe sometime, I'll create a new list "Upgraded PS2 games with widescreen or better visuals", such as Okami, Resident Evil 4, all those HD collections, etc.

All those consoles just output anamorphic widescreen, don't mix them up with resolutions, it's more of a pixel aspect ratio, there are screens that are 1024x768 and are real widescreen, their pixels are not square.

Added Aspect Zoom hack for Project Zero 3 * PAL\Europe on 16:10 mode.
This attachment is set for 16:9, though.
