Upgrade your PCSX2 version to 1.2.1, then see if there's any difference between full and fast boot.
I'm porting the pnach from nemesis2000 of the game Ar tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica NTSC-U to the PAL version.
I'm using the ELF Search Tool, for the parts of 3D scenes and battle fix the
ported widescreen code works fine, but for the 2D scenes appears a strange
graphic glitch for the legs of the animated sprite, see the screens:
This is the converted code of the 2D scenes for the PAL version:
If someone can take a look for fix that or convert it in another way that
do not appears this glitch would be very appreciated, i can provide the
ELF's for both regions of the game by pm if needed.

This is normal because you need to fina also the address that is responsible for the layering system. (what is on the front and what is on the back of certain objects) Streching the textures leaves that layer untouched so the boundaries are still streched. By experience I believe it should be very near to the addresses that are responsible for the background textures.
Thanks for the explanation virgin klm, well i tried to modify some of the
adresses manually but without result, i don't know hot to make that,
i just use the widescreen helper or elf search tool for make widescreen
pnachs, i hope someone can take a look at the adresses and fix it.

Could somebody be so kind to explain me why even if my kingdom hearts 2 dvd is SLES-54234 (italian), it has the same CRC of SLES-54232 (France) ? [thus it uses the same widescreen hack]
And could this related to the fact i can't get 60fps hack to work? I have removed the two comment slashes of course
Also, why there's another .pnach (C398F477) valid for both SLES-54114 and SLES-54233 ?

The sad news of the passing of Harold Ramis has brought me back to my PS2, making me want to play through Ghostbusters.
This could do with a widescreen patch, so I'm going to set up PCSX2 this weekend and give it a go. Before I get started - has anyone attempted to patch this game? Hopefully I haven't picked a tricky one for my first attempt!
