From a Fedora user point of view there is no real issue with there being no x86_64 version, as x686 libraries work fine in Fedora (and, increasingly, other linux distros).

Upstream already have an opinion, courtesy of code.google.com/p/pcsx2/wiki/ChrootAnd64bStatusLinux in short:

"Pcsx2 does not support running as a 64 bit application for various reasons.

The code is architecture dependent (for performance reasons).
It would need a complete rewrite of the emulator core.
No gain in performance, actually it could be slower.
Lack of programmers both willing and able to write and maintain the 64-bit code and keep it up to date with the 32-bit code. (Which has been largely rewritten since the old 64 bit code was removed.) "
Good evening.
Sorry, but where is rpm file for fedora 18 (or 19) 64 bit? I don't find it.

There is no 64-bit rpm: PCSX2 is a 32 bit application. Fortunately, 32-bit applications work fine in Fedora 64-bit, so go ahead and install the appropriate 32-bit rpm file.

The original posts seems not to have any actual attachments (nothing is listed after the content, the attachment links are broken), where exactly can I find the RPMs?

Yes you're right - something seems to be broken: not sure what or when this went wrong, but thanks for pointing it out.

First apologies for the late reply. I've not checked my personal emails for about a week as it's been a manic time at work. I'm not in a position to try to re-upload the rpms today (not at home). I will be back home on Friday and do it then. I'm sorry for the further inconvenience.
does anyone get it work on fedora 19 x86_64
No problem at all, considering you're doing all this work for free I have nothing to complain whatsoever. Get to it whenever you're able.

Not having actually get to test it yet, I will guess it should work fine on F19 x86-64, but as a i686 binary.
i686 is as native as x86-64 (your cpu is really running on i386 mode). It only cost disk space and more RAM to support both on a distribution
Not the right terminology indeed, I edited accordingly.

Not sure if you got that - but use the i686 rpm and it works perfectly on x86_64!

@Danielkza - rpms are now reuploaded! Hope you enjoy them.
