Okay, so I have downloaded and installed all of the packages from
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyOXa8ArCNY and followed them to the letter. unfortunately, mhy terminal comes up with this:
Error: Unable to initialize gtk, is DISPLAY set properly?

I am not sure what to do now. I have looked all over, and this doesn't seem to be common. I hope you can help me out, thanks.

I haven't load any game yet, just trying to boot without disc..
My specs:
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b)
The mac port is unable to boot the bios only.
You need to load a game using fast boot.

I have also tried loading Harvest Moon, but it only showed black screen.

edit: I have just tried loading another game, but it was still unsuccessful
edit 2: So! It's finally worked!
But, I was wondering whether it is normal that the speed of the game is only 20fps?
Apologies if this is an obvious question, I'm fairly new to emulators and the like. But I've followed all the steps of the first guide and dumped the bios in the bios folder of pcsx2 however I only get a black screen when I try to run an .iso file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
