Ok, but i still don't know what version of PCSX2 has working shadows in SH4.

Hmm, thanks anyway.
just get the latest development build from here http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/
Yes, it's working! With the latest development build i have working shadows in hardware modeĀ  Biggrin
Thank you very much for your helpĀ  Smile
you're welcome Smile
In the latest versions SH2 and 3 are corrupt for me.
And also OpenGL gives me Diagonal lines of artifacts if i don't use Native resolution, it seems to differ depending on games.
But it's there in SH2 and BIOS at least.
Okay it's not gone with Native, it's just hidden more.
I have it in SH3 as well, so i guess it's in all games.

I have AMD so i am assuming it's their driver like usual.

Is no one else having this issue?

Here is an image that shows it (not that obvious though).
Interesting thing is that it's affected by depth and post processing etc, so you can see two lines, one in front and another in back being blurred, just like the real image.

But what is your driver? Try to disable geometry shader (on linux you can do it from the gui, otherwise edit ini file on windows)
Windows, Crimson 16.1.

No clue where that is, couldn't find anything in the ini files.
Could you update to a modern (and working) version of your driver ?
I wrote the wrong driver, 16.6.1*

So it's basically new.

Can install the newer ones but they have only done stuff to R9 480 basically.
