Can you do this -
1. Stop ScpServer if it is running.
2. Disconnect your DS3 from USB. Press and hold the PS button until the LEDs stop flashing.
3. Reboot your PC.
4. Run ScpMonitor.exe. (You should see your BTH host address - 00:15:83:54:20:96)
5. Plug in your DS3 to USB. (You should see Pad 1 appear with your DS3s address and USB)
6. Unplug your DS3 from USB. (You should see Pad 1 switching to Reserved, after a few seconds you should see it switch to BTH)

If it doesn't switch to BTH, zip up your ScpService.log & ScpDriver.log and post.

Will do this when I get home. Thanks for your assistance so far.
@Scarlet.Crush: I tested dlls 0-9 (theres no test-4 dll), I will test the rest of them tonight because my hand hurts. Sad Blush
[attachment=47403]

The bad news, the lag/stuck button happens with tests 0-9. Every couple tests I went back to .103 just to make sure I wasn't going crazy... Smile

Just curious, did you make any other priority changes (to threads, etc) since .103?

best regards,

sorry if the question has been asked earlier but...

is this xinput wrapper supposed to work with a dual shock 1 (SCPH-1200) connected with a play.com usb adapter ? because my windows 8 pc doesn't recognize it as a xbox 360 controller...
@dink: if Test-0 didn't work there is no point testing any further. I did have another idea what may be happening, can you test the attached dll.

@ichitakaseto: the drivers are for SixAxis/DS3/DS4, so don't install them for Play.com USB adapter.

The Play.com adapter is supported through the XInput Wrapper (ScpServer\bin\Win32\XInput1_3.dll). It was tested with DS2 controllers, no idea if DS1 controllers will work.

You can test by running ScpServer\bin\Win32\ScpUser.exe - if you see button presses & stick movement you can use in game by copying the XInput1_3.dll into the base folder of your game.
uh thanks, yes it does work with my DS1 Smile
i tried it with some steam games and super house of dead ninja is the only game that it doesn't work... i wonder why. Well i can use joytokey for that Smile

really useful program btw, thanks for your hard work Smile

Okay so following the above everything goes as planned until I run ScpMonitor.exe the host address says disconnected.
Once I plug in the USB I see Pad 1 appear with DS3 address and USB.
But once I unplug it I it switches to reserved and there is where it stays.
@madtown: at a guess you have run Zadig without loading the Bluetooth preset. You don't need to run Zadig, your dongle is directly supported.

1. Run ScpDriver.
2. Click Uninstall.
3. Wait till Windows finishes installing drivers.
4. Reboot your PC if you see "Reboot required" in the ScpDriver log window.
5. Make sure your DS3 and BTH Dongle are plugged in to USB.
6. Run ScpDriver.
7. Check "Force Install".
8. Click Install.
9. Reboot your PC if you see "Reboot required" in the ScpDriver log window.
10. Run ScpMonitor - verify that both Host & Pad 1 show valid addresses.

Repeat the instructions I gave in Post #1900. I need both ScpService.log & ScpDriver.log if you have any problems.

Scarlet, I am still getting the same issue. Host error and reserved for controller along with lights continuously flashing. Here are both logs.
@madtown: ok, I asked for ScpService.log & ScpDriver.log. you attached ScpServer.log & ScpDriver.log.

Are you running ScpServer.exe?

ScpService.exe is a Windows Service wrapper for ScpControl.dll
ScpServer.exe is a Windows GUI wrapper for ScpControl.dll

Only one of these can be run at a time, ScpService is installed by ScpDriver to automatically run in the background at boot time. Use ScpMonitor to view the status of the service.

Rerun the instructions from Post #1900 and post your ScpService.log. [don't run ScpServer.exe]
