will there ever be an option to change the light bar color? it'd be cool for game like guantlet dark legacy.

[Windows 8.1 64x] Playstation 3 controller shows up in bluetooth, and then it will connect and disconnect a lot. Has anyone had any issues with it doing this on Windows 8.1? I already disable the power management option in the driver settings. It is a Kinivo BTD-400 [USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8]. I got the newest bluetooth drivers. Been working on this for 4 hours now.

it wont connect with default bluetooth drivers.. although it does show up in bluetooth devices when controller is turned on..

u need to overwrite bluetooth drivers with ones provided in scp package..u can use zadig for that.... for tutorial seach in this thread its already posted...
First of all, i just want to thank you for making this awesome tool. I just bought a DS3 controller because i knew it would work without using the other horrible program by the name MJ.

But i have one question. How do i know the % of my battery? SCP monitor just shows "USB 00054D9A Charging" when connected via USB so i can charge it.
Is the number 54 the %?

No, the program doesnt give %, it only has low-medium-high-full/Charging-charged states. It would be nice if Scarlett crush relased an update, but this has been inactive for a few months now.
Hey guys,

sorry if it was already mentioned, but is there a way to "re-map" the PS button of an DS3 controller? I would really love to get this button working in xpadder! Smile

Thanks in advance
i have a built-in bluetooth Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 4.0 + HS is it supported or no and here is the id :USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3004
some one can help me ? Smile
(06-22-2014, 04:45 AM)wepsteros Wrote: [ -> ]Hi,
I have a question. How to change number of the controller, you know player 1, 2, 3, 4? I use DS3 via usb cable (SCP-DS3-Driver) and a Microsoft X360 controller via wireless receiver.
Now is set to be always PS3 controller number 1 and X360 controller no. 2. Is any way to change that?

I have the same question as this person, and it doesn't appear to have ever been answered.

To be more specific, I've noticed that the DS3/4 controllers lock their player orientation upon turning them on. For example, if the first XInput device you turn on is a DS3/4 (with the wrapper running) then it will always stay as controller 1. This is regardless of whether you turn off the controller manually with Home+L1+R1 or let it shut off on its own. The only way to change what position it is is by restarting the computer or disabling the DS3/4 (or SCP Service) altogether through Device Manager (Services for SCP Service) and re-enabling it which, depending on who you are, may be even worse than restarting.

Another example: Say you have a 360 controller as player 1. But now you want to play with a PS3/PS4 controller instead. If you turn on the DS3/4 while the 360 controller is still on, then the DS3/4 will get locked into player 2 position. Again, you can't change this. The reverse is even more annoying since there's no trivial workarounds: starting off with a DS3/4 for player 1 and then deciding to switch to a 360 controller. That 360 controller will never be able to be player 1, always syncing to your machine as (at least) player 2. There's no way to change this short of restarting it.

The problem also occurs between different DS3/4 controllers. Say you have a DS3 as player 1. Starting a DS4 will place it as player 2, and you can't change that. Or say you have a black DS3 as player 1 and a red DS3 as player 2, and now you want to switch them around for whatever reason. Sorry, but the red player will have to remain in secondary position until you decide to restart.

This is an immense issue I have with the otherwise-incredible XInput Wrapper. I'm happy to have been able to use my DS3s for playing my games on PC, particularly with emulated games from a variety of systems. They're so much better for the latter case than 360 controllers with their terrible d-pads. However, this issue is a real roadblock to my complete enjoyment with it. I have several games that have local multiplayer that I'd like to be able to fully enjoy. Being unable to switch what already-on PlayStation controllers do is an awful annoyance.

If there's a way this feature can be included in a future release of the wrapper, I'd be greatly appreciative of it. If this functionality is actually in the program and I'm just not aware of it, I'd be glad to know how to use it!

In case of original xbox controllers or any device that identifies itself as an xinput compatible controller, you cant change the order of the devices on windows, only disconnect all the devices and replug them in.

With SCP, if you have 2 o more DS3 controllers, just launch scpmonitor and press on the little button with a "^" this will swap the controller with the one above it. I dont have a DS4, but i suppose that as long as its connected with this wrapper its the same thing.

I'm aware of that. I find it convenient to be able to switch 360 controllers by disconnecting them. The fact is that you can switch controller order by simply unplugging them (wired controllers) or taking out the battery pack (wireless controllers). When disconnected, the devices are actually removed from the list of devices, only showing back up if you reconnect them by plugging them in (wired controllers) or holding the Guide or Start button (wireless controllers). It's similar to how you switch controllers on an actual, older video game system: unplug the controllers and plug them back in to where you want them to be.

The same can't be said with PS3 controllers. Turning them off doesn't disconnect them. Even if you're only using a USB connection, unplugging them won't remove them from devices, making it so the player position taken is still reserved. The method you described above is, as your description would imply, only helpful amongst other DS3s (and DS4s?). The player spaces occupied by these controllers will still be occupied by them, and there's nothing you can do to change that short of disabling and reenabling them through Device Manager/Services or restarting the computer.

If it's possible to make it so turning them off with Home + L1 + R1 actually disconnected them, I'd greatly prefer that. As for the DS4 stuff, I actually don't have a DS4. I just assumed they worked similarly with the wrapper.
I have the same issue. I thought I had found a 'fix' for it that was a bit more trivial than disabling them through Device Manager or restarting: Just run 'ScpDriver.exe', uncheck 'Bluetooth Driver' and click on Uninstall. That'll stop ScpService, which is the one keeping the DS3 positions reserved. It turns out however, that if you do what I do, you'll end up having to restart anyway if you want to use your DS3 controllers because the SCP service is then marked for deletion so you won't be able to reinstall it until you do a restart.
