Sorry, I had misunderstood what you were trying to do. No, it doesn't remove it from the device list.

That is the exact one I'm using, and I haven't had any trouble with it.
Please help. I apologize for any ignorance I just got a bluetooth today for the first time. I followed all instructions on the first post and my bluetooth number was not on the first page so I did the steps on the other page. The problem is I don't see SCPMonitor, although I did go to services and SCP DS3 says started. When I unplug my dual shock 3 from the usb I can power the dual shock 3 on via the bluetooth and it gives me one bar on the controller but I can't press any buttons when I look under game controllers. I can only press buttons when plugged in. Sorry if this has been covered I looked around although I didn't go through 200+ pages.

I am running Vista 32 bit. I have all UAC turned off and I'm the administrator. Under game controllers it says XBCD Microsoft Xbox 360 controller even though it' s a dual shock. Again it does work through usb but not bluetooth. Maybe it's something as simple as me not knowing how to open SCPMonitor? I'm not sure. I am able to power off the dual shock 3 by holding the PS button for 10 seconds.

Edit: I got SCP Monitor open (stupid me, it was just an exe file in the folder) but the buttons still aren't responding. It says Pad 1: 00:07:04:80:63:B2 - BTH 000000 None. When I plug it in it shows usb charging.

Edit 2: tried unplugging dongle and rebooting. Same issue.

Well i gave it a shot and completely disconnected the battery and power from the laptop. Still no change in the log, finishes HCI connection but does not move on from there. Even weirder still is that some users with the same BTH chip I have are reporting it as working. Maybe I've done something wrong?
I tried this program a 2 years ago and it worked for a short time but then when i updated it and it stopped working.

After some error i reformatted my harddrive and tried my luck at this program again and it worked. Then i see that it's been updated recently and try to update it, now it just doesn't work.

The controller connects, but my bluetooth just stops after installing the update and demonstrates that it's working while the program is not installed.

please tell me that there is a copy of the driver package 1.0.0.103?
Scarlet, any chance for this support third party controllers?
I am referring to specifically things like fightpads or fightsticks.
Hello,

Can you add this please? =) USB\VID_13D3&PID_3362&REV_0001 (Laptop Asus G75VX)

Thanks you Smile
Things have gotten much worse for me. Now anytime I plug my ds3 with a usb i get a blue screen of death. I've tried installing/uninstalling drivers. In device manager it says ISATAP Adapter #2 and it has a yellow warning by it. I think I've screwed things up badly. I wish I'd never bought a bluetooth adapter as I was doing fine with betterDS3 using USB, now I can't use my ds3 at all. If anyone can offer some advice I'd really appreciate it.

Hey, Scarlet, thank you for your work! Are you planning integration of all exe files into one cohesive interface? It would be nice if one could switch between service/server mode, see monitoring data and options in one window.

Thats really odd, I got this when I was using Motionjoy, my main reason to switch from that to SCP DS3.

I believe you may have messed up somewhere and something got corrupted in the install.

I advise you reinstall, make SURE to UNINSTALL as Admin.
Run As Administrator the SCpDriver.exe (R.Click)
GO in hit Uninstall > Reboot.
Then run again as Admin and Hit Install.
Make sure to Install the Driver 1st then the Bluetooth Driver (dont install both at once. Install one, reboot, install the other, always as Admin)

The Bluetooth part can also be because its not supported, even though there is "bypass" for I cant help 100% because my dongle is on the Supported list form a few versions back.

@Scarlet.Crush:
I'm using the DS4 and the DS3 (love that I can) only reason I switch is when Im mid game and the DS4 dies (turns off by itself in a few secs after turning it back on) and it dies really frequently....I believe that BRIGHT Move-light on the front sucks up so much unnecessary juice.

I was wondering if it possible to somehow have the Light enabled for the 1st few secs so I can tell if it connected and then it turns off after a few secs. I only see its point on the PC to tell me if it connected via BT and to what Pad#. cause wow compared to my DS3 this new DS4 dies QUICK! like max 4-5hrs versus 10-12hrs on my DS3 I can play a whole day's worth on my DS3 and still have plenty of juice to last another Day-ish. the DS4 usually Dies when I try to turn it back on the next day lol.
