Is it possible to compile the software against .NET 2.0 and not .NET 4.0? Thank you.

So, I have it installed from the latest version and all, but the pad still refuses to work with certain games.

Darksiders will only let me push the start button, that's it. And not even the keyboard will work during gameplay, the character just stands still. DMC4 will not recognize the pad at all.
@corpgator: not entirely sure what you mean, can you be more explicit.

@fred9: portions of the source use features which are not available in .Net 2.0.

@stanislavskov: from the logs it looks like an issue in Sleep/Resume. What make/model is your machine?

Can you do the following - (have ScpMonitor running, verify it is displaying correct connection type and packet counter is incrementing).
1. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
2. Restart the Service (or reboot your PC).
3. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
6. Wait 30 seconds.
7. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
8. Wait 30 seconds.
9. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
10. Wait 30 seconds.
11. Zip up your ScpService.log and post as an attachment.
12. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
13. Test your games.
I Scarlet, first at all sorry for my por english (isn't my native language, I'm from Argentine) and thank you for your work, even though I can't do it work yet. I must said that I've the full thread and can't read the same problem that is in my case, I reinstalled the drivers, go to restore points in my system, change the USB ports and change too the BT dongle (I've two of them "generics") without success.
My system and drivers are WIN 7 32 b + SP1, the SCPDrivers are the latest (from #639), and DS3 (is a supposed original, it came with a PS3 bought in 2012) and dongle is compatible -USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_5276-), but the DS3 don't neither in USB nor BT mode, nevertheless I can see it in devmgmt and in control panel, printers and other device, addicionally I can't got an scpservice.log instead I have an scpservice.installog , can you help me ?? Thanks in advance.Ocitda.Sad

Sorry!!! I want to tell HI Scarlet , I'm ashamed !!
@Ocitda: it sounds like the service is unable to start for some reason (ScpService.log should be created when the service starts).

1. Open Service Control Manager (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services).
2. Scroll down to find "SCP DS3 Service".
3. Right-click on it and select Start.
4. Report back if there is any error.

Can you zip up your ScpDriver.log and post as an attachment.
Hi Scarlet, thank you for your quickly answer, I was out of my house a couple of hours; here are the attachments, there is a problema in the SCPServices I think. Thanks in advance.Ocitda.
Hello fellow gamers. I am quite new to emulators and the lack of exp(i know bad pun) is giving me grief. I plan on using a DS3 controller on win 7 to play ff10 and maybe other games.

I know there is a way with motion joy, but honestly it crashes my pc sometimes or just does not work. I have tried to get one of the plug-ins I saw on here to work, but I am just clueless as heck about what I am doing. As such even though I think I installed the plugin and driver right my computer only recognizes the ds3 controller for a few seconds then it shuts off and disappears from my devices.

Is there any way someone can give me a complete detailed step by step to get this working without motion joy.(including how to set up the controller and such)

and extra credit to anyone who can help with getting settings optimal for ff10.

Thank you very much,

a very confused and frustrated gamer.

Specs win 7 32bit sp 1
core duo 2 2.8x2
4gig ddr 2 ram
fully updated nvdia graphics
(its a bit old, but well within the specs listed)

thanks for the link, but i am going wired so the Bluetooth directions don't really pertain to me.

Edit:

I have it working when I test on lilipad and in the program that came with the driver. However went I boot up and get to the initial settings the controller does nothing. Also the controller keeps randomly disconnecting.
