(06-04-2014, 10:43 PM)kegdas Wrote: [ -> ]Minor issue, sometimes my DS3 unpairs or won't pair.

Example
Day 1, plug in controller and BT dongle, take out cord, DS3 pairs and plays wirelessly
Day 2a, no pairing required, DS3 works perfectly wireless
Day 2b, when I press the middle button, the DS3 tries to connect and flashes all the lights but never connects, the BT dongle is in, have to plug in controller to pair, the majority of times it doesn't even work so I either have to restart my computer or mess around a lot with the BT dongle and cord, change ports, etc for it to work.

It's like a gamble every time I turn on my computer to have my DS3 just work. Anyone know what's up?

Similar problem here with my DS4; on reset, my DS4 will not pair. In order to pair at all, I have to uninstall the driver entirely, install the controller driver via Zadig then install the SCP driver again.
Im having a lot of trouble getting Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed to recognized my controller. Literally every other game Ive played, from Dark Souls to Portal to Deathspank have no problem detecting and configuring my controller without me having to do anything. But Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed no matter what I do will not detect the controller at all. I even tried using x360ce but still nothing. SART doesnt show the controller at all in the configuration tool and the controller doesnt (and has never) shown up in the Windows gamepad tool.

1. Ive confirmed SCP service is running.
2. Already on the latest version of the drivers
3. All other games so far Ive tried work with the driver
4. Ive tried both wireless and wired

EDIT: I ended up uninstalling Scarlet's drivers, installing MotionInJoy then uninstalling that and reinstalling Scarlet's drivers again got something work. Maybe MotionInJoy added or fixed something.

Pairing of a DS3 can only be carried out over USB, same as when you use it on a PS3. Do the following -

1. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
2. Run ScpDriver.exe, click Uninstall.
3. click Install.
4. Wait until Win8 has finished installing devices.
5. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
6. Plugin your DS3 to USB - DS3 will now get Paired to your Dongle.
7. Unplug your DS3 from USB - DS3 should now Connect to your Dongle.
8. Zip up your ScpDriver.log and ScpService.log and post as an attachment.

ScpService.exe is a Windows Service, it is not intended to be run from a command prompt or double-clicking in Explorer.

Hi,
same problem here, but your steps above didn't solve it. I zipped ScpDriver.log and ScpService.InstallLog. There is no ScpService.log Sad I hope you can help me.

I installed the xbox-driver, Microsoft Net 4.5 Framework and Visual C++ 2013 several times and hoped it helps. No way -.-
I'm on a clean windows 8.1 install with no previous MiJ or SCP drivers and I was not being able to make the DS3 controller work.

What I noticed was the controller not charging when plugged on the USB, even without the SCP installed and running. Researching this, I got the advice to plug the controller, deactivate the HID game-compliant device on the device manager and replugged.

After this the controller started charging normally and the next attempt to install the SCP driver worked flawlessly.

According to the posts everywhere, this behavior started only on Windows 8.1. So if you are not understanding why it's not working for you and you are on windows 8.1, give it a try, maybe it works for someone else.

Just a quick question about dongles. You mention that the dongle has to be 2.0 and EDR. Is this 2.0 or higher? Or does it have to be 2.0?

Will this work?

I've been having problems getting my ds3 to pair.

Just installed the program and have been trying to get it to work.

1) The service does not and will not start.

"The SCP DS3 Service service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automaticall if they are not in use by other services or programs."

2) In SCP Server when I try to pair I get this error

"HCI_Reject_Connection_Request [040A]"

any help?

net starting the service does not work.
Love this, so much better than the alternative and has been working nearly flawlessly for the past few days, especially like the fact that you can use a controller button combination to disconnect. But of course I did come to you with a problem, one that had also occurred while using motioninjoy; is there any way to keep windows from automatically installing the DS3 drivers to other compatible devices? The only way I have found to do so is to rename the driver directory, in this case the "System" directory. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Also maybe you could set up an easier, less button consuming way to disconnect? Like quickly tapping the PS button 3 times. I also use my controller with xpadder for general control and in my default profile the shoulder buttons are my volume +-. Maybe come up with a few practical methods and add a way to switch between them in the config.

and one more thing:

6. Minimum of Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Dongle (if using Bluetooth).

As for that particular dongle I wouldn't know.
Quick question ... probably fairly easy to answer. I dont want to do a blu tooth connection on my ds3 i just want to run it through usb. I install everything and pull up the SCP monitor and it's showing that the ds3 is charging but the host is disconnected. How can i fix this so i can just do a simple setup for pcsx2 running ds3 through usb.
Hi. First of all - thank you for this tool. Like it alot. Have one question: Recently try to instal it on Lenovo Thinkpad 8 and it can't find bluetooth device. Maybe because hardware id is BCMBTBUS\BLUETOOTH. After adding it to BthWinUsb.inf - tool find device but failed to install driver with error 0xe000024b. Any thoughts for solution? Thank you.
I still don't know how to iues this..
Can this make my PS3 controller able to use in PC game?
If so, Please help me....
I need a full guide on this Please....
