What's the best way to separate the triggers and remap the keys properly?
Currently this is what I'm doing:
OEM DS3 Controller -> Xinput Wrapper -> XBCD -> X360CE.
So, this is a Xbox XInput wrapper on a DirectInput Xbox driver for an Xinput DS3 wrapper.
Hello! yall. Am using windows 8.1 and i plugged in my ps3 controller and my computer reads it perfectly but the controller won't turn on so it won't let me run the ScpDriver.exe. What can i do?
Ok. I installed it. But didn't work for me. Am i doing something wrong? I follow the directions exactly.
I have a question...

I installed this yesterday, and it only shows 10 button when I right click and check it in win 8.1.

Neither of my left rights seem to be detected, r2 shows as zaxis.... And I can't figure out what button 5 is supposed to be.....

I figured it was a quirk and grid to map using any of the plugins... Twinpad doesnt recognize l1, l2 (using USB )...

I accept the controller could be bad.... But does it normally only detect ds3 as a10 button?
Could use some help if these are even still read. I installed all the files etc that i had to, but it is not recognizing that i have a controller hooked up anyway...

Edit: it is now saying that a controller is hooked up when i have scp server open, but it doesnt recognize it as an xbox controller, and i cant use it on PCSX2

This isnt a driver, its a wrapper, thats why you need the xbox 360 controller driver its not a problem of this software, its the microsoft driver the one that its "faulty", i've read somewhere that you can use XBCD instead of the official MS driver, but I havent tested my self

A = Cross = Button 1
B = Circle = Button 2
X = Square = Button 3
Y = Triangle = Button 4
LB = L1 = Button 5
RB = R1 =Button 6
Back =Select = Button 7
Start = Start = Button 8
LStick push= L3 = Button 9
RStick push = R3 = Button 10
LTrigger = L2 = Z Axis +
RTrigger = R2 = Z Axis -
DPAD = DPAD = POV
LStick = LStick = X & Y Axis
RStick = RStick = X & Y Rotation axis

Your problem seems to be from it not being and oficial controller (?)
Alright, so, everyone seems to have ignored my issue entirely... Thanks.

I now have yet another problem: I bought an extra USB cable, since no one assisted me with my dongle issue (I'd still love help with that, by the way...). But now, it shows the controller as plugged in, but instead of saying 'charging', it says 241. And it disconnects the controller, and reconnects it as another one (with its first one becoming reserved), whenever the controller vibrates; it reconnects it as its previous spot if I disconnect the controller from the USB.

Please guys... I need help with this. Thank you.

N.B.: It only does this with the new cable, just saying.
Egyptian,
I had this 241 problem a few months ago.
241 happens if its a crappy cable and the connection isn't good (because of the cable being crappy). I put the cable aside, and then tried it again on a mp3 player a few weeks ago, and the end broke off the damn cable when I disconnected it from my mp3 player. So yea, the 241 error means don't trust that cable Smile

best regards,
- dink
So is the ScpPair tool working for anyone here? It nevers shows any values and altough Sixaxis pair tool works, it cripples the DS3 USB driver replacing it with libusb which can be deleted later fortunately.
Using the newest version of SCP Drivers. I'm on win8 x64.

I can easily establish the bluetooth to DS3 connection but after roughly 15 seconds the connection aborts every single time i tried.

It shows up in the monitor corectly and well, simply stops "advancing" (there is some counter type of thing in the monitor exe) after some seconds. When it stops counting the key presses do nothing but the ds3 still shows 1 LED on.

I already tried deinstalling, restarting my pc and installing the scp drivers again. What else can I do? Help :/
