@tempacc now when i open the scpmonitor the ds3 appears
, but i also have a ds4 which still doesn't seem to work. and what is the VID
ID Your talking about? (I don't know much about stuff like this). It only showed ds3 usb driver, nothing about ds4.
EDIT: the Bluetooth doesn't seem to be working fully though. When i unplugged it from the usb, the scpmonitor showed pad 1: reserved. When i pressed the ps button on the ds3 it started blinking which it didn't do before, and it says Wireless Controller Connected on the Bluetooth page on my computer, and then eventually the Controller stops blinking.
EDIT: i went to Devices and printers and clicked the ps3 Controller there and searched for errors and it said something like "the ds3 is an older Device and may not work With usb 3.0" and when i clicked NeXT it said "usb ds3 is not working in the right way With usb 3.0"
Just wanted to say thanks to Scarlet.Crush for this great tool - I was fighting with MotionInJoy for a long time and gave up and this worked fantastic.
By the way, I saw some people were asking about button remapping. I had found a tool that works nicely for this called the Durazno XInput Wrapper. It works fine with the Scarlet Crush driver and allowed me to "fix" the buttons on the PS3 controller for PC Skyrim so that they matched the behavior of the PS3 Skyrim controls.
@roli
I dont have a PS4 controller so I don't know what's wrong. Plug the adapter to a USB 2 port (non-blue port).
So did anyone here manage to have working rumble using DS3 with BT? Anyone at all? Any idea how to achieve that? I tried everything I could think of. Unless my dongle is so bad it can't transmit it or something.
Another thing. For some reason the controller also works in old DirectInput games now. It didn't before oO, but I don't see any config for that. Do I need to rebind everything? Only thing I can tell that is flipped is X and O buttons. I have old Logitech Dual Action plugged in and it'd be cool to have the controls consistent.
Rumble works on mine out of the box. I have USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001
I'm currently experiencing an issue with my L3 button. While having L3 depressed, any motions to the left or right extremes causes every button to activate. This also occurs to a much smaller extent with R3. I've tested it on several controllers and had similar results with all of them. I've already tried disabling the L3 button but to no avail. Please help! I'm getting pounded in Dark Souls!
Hi all!
Im struggling trying to get the my DS3 working over Bluetooth to a
Surface Pro (gen 1).
I did the Force install of the driver and that seems to have worked but I just cant get the DS3 to function over BT. It works fine over USB though.
Probably I'm doing something wrong, but if I understand correctly you're just suppose to connect the controller with USB and it should then be paired.
I unplug it from the USB, press the PS-button but nothing happens. The 4 red lights on the DS3 just keep flashing.
Any tips?
well im having another problem now. it says that my controller is working ( shows charging and that its connected) but it shows it as a ps3 controller not xbox,so i cant get it to work with steam like i was using it before. anyone know how to fix this?
im on windows 8
I just googled for a bit and realized my controller is fake (I got it with used PS3 so I had no idea) so that's most likely the reason for the rumble BT not working. Shame there isn't workaround
To add to this the wireless rumble works with PS3, but not this tool.
I hope this will be fixed eventually :/
When i connect using bluetooth to SCP Server i get BTH 0000000.On the Bluetooth adapter packaging it says Bluetooth V.2.1 EDR
