Hi Scarlet,
I've been trying this for weeks to no avail.
Can you help me uninstall everything you're method installs? I want to run it from scratch. I'm running x64 Win7 Home.
Aside from that, I've followed your procedures, making sure I have all the requirements, including the X360 driver. I even followed this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsUtQ8urmw0
Each time, when I finished installing the driver, it did not open the window like in the video and show it was installing the drivers for the DS3 as an Xbox360 controller. I've never had that happen. What happens instead is a blank when I go into Devices & Printers and click on Game controller settings - nothing is there under "Installed game controllers". No DS3, no default Playstation 3 controller or otherwise. Can you please help me out? I''m pretty darn sure I have all the requesites. All the stuff you say I need is in my control panel.
Can someone post the version "SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-1.0.0.103.7z" to download?
Or make some workaround to the latest version to support non-genuine controllers? Please guys
I made the procedure of post #1900 to solve problem faster.
1. Stop ScpServer if it is running. -OK-
2. Disconnect your DS3 from USB. Press and hold the PS button until the LEDs stop flashing. -OK-
3. Reboot your PC. -OK-
4. Run ScpMonitor.exe. (You should see your BTH host address - 00:15:83:54:20:96) -NO-the host adress is DC:85
E:61:41:3e
5. Plug in your DS3 to USB. (You should see Pad 1 appear with your DS3s address and USB) -OK- Adress is 08:A9:5A:84:08:BF
6. Unplug your DS3 from USB. (You should see Pad 1 switching to Reserved, after a few seconds you should see it switch to BTH) -NO- It remains "Reserved"
Send me Log File ScpDriver.log and ScpService.log -OK-

Wonderfull bluetooth pairing worked with your last updated scpcontrol.dll !!! I paired my 2 ds4.
Attached ScpService and Ds4Pair logs if you want.
Will now try playing see if all is OK
PS : hope a ds4 battery support soon ;-)
Many thanks for your support
Released an update, see Post #1.
Included fixes identified for BTH Dongles (Thanks to znation for testing).
Included fixes identified for WinXP x86 (Thanks to dink for testing).
Battery Status for DS4.
USB - ScpMonitor will display [Charging | Charged]. LightBar will Slow Flash while Charging.
BTH - ScpMonitor will display [Full | High | Medium | Low | Dieing]. LightBar will Fast Flash if [Low | Dieing]
Full -> 80% - 100%
High -> 60% - 80%
Medium -> 40% - 60%
Low -> 20% - 40%
Dieing -> 0% -> 20%
Notes
A full charge on USB from 0% -> 100% takes 3.5 hours on my DS4. May be faster if you have a Fast Charge USB port available.
A full discharge on BTH from 100% -> 0% with both Rumble motors at full and LightBar enabled takes 4hrs 10mins.
Currently testing a full discharge on BTH with Rumble & LightBar disabled - 4 hrs 30mins in and Battery is displaying High.
I have a question about dualshock 4,
ds4 include a built in Six-axis motion sensing systems(three axis gyroscope, three axis accelerometer),
Is there any possibility of support this motion sensor and make use of it on pc?
Thank you for you hard work
With my regards
@Scarlet.Crush: thanks again for the best driver and fixing that WinXP problem!
Happy holidays & Merry X-Mas
best regards,

I got it to work on one laptop. HOpefully it works on the other as well. Thanks, Scarlet.
Can anybody help me with an issue I'm having? I'm playing LOTR: The Return of the King, but the game isn't recognizing my R2 & L2 buttons or the start/select buttons either. Windows does when I test them, but not the game; In window, L2/R2 are assigned to the "Z axis", and my right stick is the "Y axis", and left stick to the "X axis". Yet, when I calibrate the controller, the movement is detected but nothing shows up in the % bars. Is there a way to change this? I need the use of the L2/R2 buttons How can I get ROTK to recognize them?
Hey Scarlet. My bluetooth dongle doesn't work anymore for normal purposes. When I uninstalled SCP, windows installed the generic bluetooth adapter. Now I have to run broadcomm's widcomm program to get the drivers necessary to use my bluetooth headset. When I run widcomm drivers, the program detects my bluetooth device (so it passes step 1) but it cannot validate it anymore so now I cannot get the broadcomm widcomm drivers for audio.
What gives?
So there will be no support for non-genuine? :\\\\ please guys don't make me use motioninjoy
