1. Disconnect your DS3 from USB.
2. Restart the Service or Reboot.
3. Perform a pinhole reset on your DS3.
4. Wait a few seconds then press the PS button.
5. Wait 30 seconds.
6. Zip up your ScpService.log and post as an attachment.
After I did the pinhole reset it functioned correctly. Thanks.
any chance I could get USB\VID_05AC&PID_8216 added? Hoping this will work as motion caused my system to blue screen constantly. Thanks for your efforts!
Hi, Scarlet I finally can do work your tool, and all is fine with two Dualshock, now I want add two more DS to the system (Win 7-32b) the question is for every new DS I have to add a wire too, connect to a new USB port and install the driver again? TIA.Ocitda.
Thanks for the response and instructions.

Is the SCPService.log file supposed to be in the same place as the SCPDriver.log file? I don't see one.

Thanks again.

Oh ok, now you've said that. How can we supposed to help you when your controller itself doesn't work even on PS3 console... Huh

I would say maybe you can open it apart and try to re-adjust the ribbon contact to circuit board to see if it will decide to work again.

This will show you what ribbon contact look like and how to fix it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cnXHaHw1qA

Happened to one of my DS3 controller before, it was random button pushing and I fixed it. I think there could be the same culprit for your DS3 with that non-responsive buttons.
"@DragonKing: FFXI uses DInput, the MS X360 drivers combine the Triggers into the Z axis. FFXI cannot use the Triggers as buttons."

So what you're saying is that FFXI is the problem or this program just doesn't have the right stuff so I can use all the buttons on the PS3 controller when playing FFXI? Basically I can get everything to work except the R2 and L2 buttons. If this program doesn't work I don't know what to do since MotionJoy is crap, yet, it's the only program that actually works for this basically flawless lol ; ;
Hi Scarlett.Crush, great work on the tool and thanks for your hard work.

However I'm having a problem that the controller connects fine over USB but will not work over bluetooth.

I have the "Plugable LE 4.0" dongle from amazon (hardware ID USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8) so that should be compatible, and an official Sony DS3 controller. I'm also running Windows 7.

I've followed these steps and attached the zipped up files, as that seems to be what you usually ask for:
1. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
2. Restart the Service (or reboot your PC).
3. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
6. Wait 30 seconds.
7. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
8. Wait 30 seconds.
9. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
10. Wait 30 seconds.
11. Zip up your ScpDriver.log and ScpService.log and post as an attachment

I'd really appreciate your help on this, thanks.

I have a problem, the control seems to be working for the test, but it does not appear in the "game controllers" and is not recognized in games, already googled up this page and found no solution, since reinstalled several times etc. ..

before installing the SC Driver, control appeared in "game controllers", but did not work any button
