@rama: unfortunately your dongle is BT 1.2. The first digit only of the HCI Version specifies the BT version and is coded (the rest is encoding formats). See here for the Bluetooth SIG numbering assignments.

I typo'd the version requirement for DS3s, it should be BT 2.0 + EDR. So you would need a dongle with HCI Version 3.xxxx or above.

Your dongle is doing all the connection setup correctly, it just doesn't understand the stream of reports coming from the DS3.
Was excited for this to work on my computer, having a native driver seems like a better idea than motioninjoy. Sadly, after install, I get a BSOD due to xusb21.sys. I guess I'll have to troubleshoot some more on my own, but hope that you continue work on the drivers because this is a great idea that many people have been hoping for a long time. Thanks for your work.
Scarlet.Crush:
Ah, alright. Good to know then Tongue2
I also tested the driver on my Win 8 x86 on my EeePC 901. The built-in BT reports version 4.
Had to add the device ID for the driver to install. ScpServer seems to pair the DS3 and the radio
but then it never connects via BT it seems. The status is Reserved and I get no radio logs at all.
Will continue working on that with the tips spread out in this thread.
@thebrain2u: can you post your OS Version, x86 or x64, Service Pack and the version of number of xusb21.sys.

@rama: if your using ScpServer.exe you will have to manually pair the DS3. Plug in the DS3 via USB, select it's Radio button. If it is not already Paired the Pair button will become active, click it. Wait a few seconds, then unplug the DS3.

@unvaluablespace: powering off controllers after a period of inactivity is a usability feature I am aiming to add during alpha/beta phase (and possibly flashing the LED when battery is low).
The Reserved/Reconnecting on same id behaviour is there to make switching between BTH/USB as seemless as possible. ie if your on BTH and want to charge the controller you can just plug it in to USB and continue playing without interruption. (switchover times currently: BTH -> USB ~0.5s, USB -> BTH ~1s - 5s).

This is what happened with my Atheros built in 4.0.
Great work, it looks really nice so far! The only thing preventing me from switching to it is absence of LilyPad native mode support yet.
Installed it on 2008R2 with the following result: installation went ok, but after running ScpServer (installed without service) system hanged on installing XBOX 360 controller driver. After reboot I've manually installed XBOX 360 driver from MS and after that running ScpServer successfully created the devices.

Feature request: ability to turn off the LED and separate option to flash LED on some battery level threshold.

Not sure if like or dislike: BT adapter now always shows in unplug devices list.
@Senti: funny you should mention Lilypad, just finished testing a custom Lilypad with native support.

To use it :
1. Extract and copy the Lilypad-Scp-r5350.dll to your PCSX2\plugins folder.
2. Copy bin\Win32\XInput1_3.dll from your 4.1 install folder to your PCSX2 folder.
3. Configure it to be your Pad plugin.
4. Configure your pad.

The plugin uses the pressure extensions from the XInput dll, so it is required.
The A1 rev of the DS3 I have performs much better with Rumble than an original DS3, so would recommend getting one for best experience.

The original Inbox X360 drivers that shipped with Win7 / 2008R2 are a bit dodgy, the X360 Accessories have a nearly up to date set of drivers which get pre-installed, recommended to install these first if youv'e never attached an X360 pad.
Thank you, it works. I would prefer sources though, as I use slightly customized LilyPad.
First try without custom XInput1_3.dll in PCSX2 folder: crash after I pressed refresh.

After looking at raw values – it seems ability to apply sticks offsets correction would be nice as this way deadzones can be reduced.

I hope there is chance that rumble of original DS3 would be improved as it's somewhat sad to know that my C2E B1 DS3 so much worse. >_>
As you requested,

Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1
File Version: 9.18.1015.0

Controller itself is C2U B1 revision
@Senti: attached the source files which I changed in LilyPad (from r5350 sources).
The B1 rev is later than A1, original release DS3s didn't have a rev no. I don't have a B1, so can't say if it has regressed, but I would assume it should be as good as the A1 rev.

@thebrain2u: same version of Windows I run on my games machine. Can you try downloading and installing the X360 Controller Accessories from here. The xusb21.sys for Win7 x64 installed by the package is 9.18.1034.0 and runs fine on my machine.
