Abcdude:
In my opinion Restore Points are useless [should not be relied upon over a full system back to an external hdd + repair disc].
I can't estimate risk as I have never had to do this for MotioninJoy drivers myself.

Samoora: ok, from your logs everything looks good - your dongle properly supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP).
To Pair your DS4 to your Dongle follow the steps in Post
#1854.
The Service is required to be running for normal use, ScpMonitor displays status data from the Service.

Triver: now that PCSX2 1.2.1 has been released I will be looking to update the Lilypad support based on the 1.2.1 sources.

1. Battery life -- when I first got mine battery life was terrible and charging took forever. It seems to have got a lot better with use though - not as good as a DS3, but not far off. [LightBar set at 1/255].
TBH the LightBar is pretty useless, the angle it is set at means in normal use playing a game you just can't see it unless you tilt the controller backward.
2. DS4 support has been added to ScpService, so it supports both DS3 & DS4 at the same time and behaves in the same manner as the previous DS3 version.
Main difference between DS3 and DS4 use is - DS4 doesn't yet support automatic pairing [added a DS4Pair Tool], DS4 doesn't auto connect to BTH after disconnect from USB [need to press the PS button], DS4 doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons.
3. I think it's just the DS4 sticks have much tighter springing around the center point, so just doesn't feel as accurate as a DS3. [one of the main reasons I preferred DS3 over X360 controllers]. Initially I found this annoying, but has become less noticeable with use.
Pretty much the same with triggers.
