Hey, I seem to be having an issue where my Controllers is not connecting via bluetooth. It says one the manager BTH 0000 None. I was hopping you might help. I don't know if this will matter but I am using a sixaxis controller not a DS3.
Hey, thank you so much for all your brilliant hard work on this. I can't get my blue tooth to work either. Wired, everything works Perfectly. But as soon as I unplug the controller, the bt dongle led radically blinks to the point of almost being solid on. the ds3 led lights blink on and off.

my dongle is hardware id USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001

my log is attached, done exactly like u explained on the previous page.
Mine is also USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001.
Nevermind
Alright, so this thing just isn't working anymore(wired). I just went through a reinstallation of windows, and it was working before. I even tried it on my parents' relatively awful computer and it worked fine. But for whatever reason, even though I've done nothing differently and followed the instructions in the op exactly, it just doesn't work. The SCPMonitor thing shows it working, but it doesn't work in any steam games that I've tried(Rogue Legacy and Super House of Dead Ninjas to be exact), nor does it work with snes9x. I've looked in the control panel, and it says there's a PS3 controller and a 360 controller. 360 controller doesnt have any obvious issues in the window. I've tried x360ce, I've tried putting the x_input.dll files in with the exes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried uninstalling and force installing. I've tried unchecking the Bluetooth Driver option. And yes, I have been restarting the computer too. The installation process never shows any errors either.

I'm really at a loss here. I can't see anything that can possibly be the issue. I suppose I'll have to use Motioninjoy for the time being. Angry

EDIT: Goddammit Motioninjoy doesn't work either. It just goes unresponsive whenever I try to start it. For the love of frick it's like nothing on my computer works anymore. This is infuriating.
Hey Scarlett, first of all welcome back! Thanks again for all your hard work! Smile

I have three questions about this and ds4 support. I recently bought a ds4 but returned it because I didn't really like it over my ds3 controller, so I didn't really get a chance to extensively test it, but a few things bugged me:

How is the battery life on the ds4? Obviously with that stupid light it drains pretty quick, but how long is the battery vs a ds3 controller, with the ds4 light bar disabled or on the lowest brightness setting? When I had my ds4 it seemed to last a lot longer with the light off/really low, but I couldn't really tell if it was any worse or better than my ds3.

Does your wrapper work automatically upon startup? I know it does for ds3 controllers, but when I tried another users wrapper before yours, I recall having the launch the wrapper every time. Hoping your ds4 support auto runs like a service as well.

Most important annoyance for me: is there a higher dead zone on the ds4 controller, and anyway to adjust it? When playing fast pace games (cod, for example) it felt like the analog sticks had a slower response than my ds3 controller. Not sure if it was lag, but doubtful, it seemed like the regular buttons responded fine, but the analog sticks and triggers had this delay from center.

Help on this would be appreciated. My setup currently uses two Bluetooth adapters, but I need to get rid of one for a new setup, which means I might need to jump to ds4 since it doesn't need its own dedicated Bluetooth. Thanks Smile

Having the same problem with a PS3 controller and mine is USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001 as well. Works fine when I plug the controller in directly via a USB cable, PC picks up the PS3 controller and the input comes up correctly in the xbox controller test window, however I experience the same issue when I remove the cable, the red 1 light stays on after flashing a bit on the controller as if it's active. The computer still shows the xbox controller on printers & other devices, of course the PS3 controller isn't there anymore since it's not directly plugged in anymore, however input simply doesn't work and it shows BTH 0000 None in the monitor. If I remove the bluetooth dongle the controller shuts down (red light switches off) etc, so I can only assume the dongle is picking it up at least.

Included the ScpService log if it helps. First file is unplugging and replugging the usb cable twice after a reboot. Second file is the same log but after unplugging and replugging the dongle once.
I am also having problems with the bluetooth dongle not recognising the ps3 controller. Everything is okay when wired up. I have noticed though when I install the xInput Wrapper there is no flashing light on the bluetooth dongle. I have uninstalled drivers & reinstalled everything concerned but still having the same problems. ID of dongle is USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_4839. I have been trying this for the past couple of days & am going mad!
@Abcdude:
In my opinion Restore Points are useless [should not be relied upon over a full system back to an external hdd + repair disc].

I can't estimate risk as I have never had to do this for MotioninJoy drivers myself.

@Samoora: ok, from your logs everything looks good - your dongle properly supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP).

To Pair your DS4 to your Dongle follow the steps in Post #1854.

The Service is required to be running for normal use, ScpMonitor displays status data from the Service.

@Triver: now that PCSX2 1.2.1 has been released I will be looking to update the Lilypad support based on the 1.2.1 sources.

@Vynch: can you do the following -

1. Disconnect your DS3 from USB.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
4. Wait 10 seconds.
5. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
6. Wait 30 seconds.
7. Zip up your ScpService.log and ScpDriver.log and post as an attachment.

@shuuugo: your dongle does not support Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.

Code:
-- Master 00:15:83:3D:0A:57, HCI_Version 2.07C5, LMP_Version 2.07C5

Check the Bluetooth SIG numbering assignments - Host Controller Interface

@Hoth'Raka: can you zip up your ScpService.log and ScpDriver.log and post as an attachment.

@unvaluablespace: heya

1. Battery life -- when I first got mine battery life was terrible and charging took forever. It seems to have got a lot better with use though - not as good as a DS3, but not far off. [LightBar set at 1/255].
TBH the LightBar is pretty useless, the angle it is set at means in normal use playing a game you just can't see it unless you tilt the controller backward.

2. DS4 support has been added to ScpService, so it supports both DS3 & DS4 at the same time and behaves in the same manner as the previous DS3 version.
Main difference between DS3 and DS4 use is - DS4 doesn't yet support automatic pairing [added a DS4Pair Tool], DS4 doesn't auto connect to BTH after disconnect from USB [need to press the PS button], DS4 doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons.

3. I think it's just the DS4 sticks have much tighter springing around the center point, so just doesn't feel as accurate as a DS3. [one of the main reasons I preferred DS3 over X360 controllers]. Initially I found this annoying, but has become less noticeable with use.
Pretty much the same with triggers.

@Xeiranis: can you do the following -

1. Disconnect your DS3 from USB.
2. Start ScpUser from ScpServer\bin\Win32.
3. Click Advanced.
4. Slide the Rumble Sliders to the right.
5. Does your DS3 rumble?

@AndyIvy: can you do the following -

1. Disconnect your DS3 from USB.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
4. Wait 10 seconds.
5. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
6. Wait 30 seconds.
7. Zip up your ScpService.log and ScpDriver.log and post as an attachment.
