!! in HW mode enable: PCSX2 > Config > Video (GS) > Plugin settings > "Enable HW HAcks" > Advanced Settings > "half-pixel offset" = (Normal Vertex) for more clearer image.
or fine tune "Texture Offsets" according upscaling resolution example: 3x native 1080p = x:100 y:200 !!
!! in HW mode some effects missing (PCSX2 bug) (example: orbs circle signs or intro cutscene trish ligthing hand)
workaround: press start in gameplay for effects reappear or change to SW with F9 then back to HW, in cutscenes press F9 before cut start then back to HW !!
- Europe version NTSC 60hz code works ok gameplay speed match other editions, but some videos and cutscenes has crash-audio dsync, require audio sync code/hack (code not available untill find better solution)
- subtitle captions are blurry because low resolution fonts - textures

[s]-JAPAN and Europe version only share addresses for "no interleacing values codeblock" maybe this "codeblock" works for

USA version too, but other codeblocks need to be ported. ported* UPDATED May 18 2021.

Game tested to 4 level with no crash or problems (still no fully tested); about removing all post-effects
it will make game pale (almost like pc/other ports), game pass differents effects values per each cut-scene/scenario,
camera position, etc configured by original programmers, so i guessing why other ports are missing/wrong/guessing a lot of this effects,

still i hope a remake by Hideaki Itsuno and team for make good port to new consoles/pc, Rolleyes
but if you want to test no effects look in PCSX forums "cheats thread" a code available there; apart, i still looking for info
to port "style switcher mod" but no info are available "the old PCSX2 code from sepertiem is missing from web".

Could you do one pnach for Devil May Cry 3 Vanilla USA (the non Special Edition) just like you did for SE, with progressive renderer, 4:3 menus and HUD, etc.

And also, I found the code for PCSX2 StyleSwitcher in case you still want it.

i retaking slowly a lot of codes left unfinished couple months ago, now using new format for .pnach files,.

*this series not need for interlaced codes, USA version runs 60hz in "full frame mode"and have progressive scan modes with combo button, but PAL versions this was disabled in code, so reenabling disabled functions and erase\ bypass PAL selector, extend resolution to 640x480

hi, it seems there is a difference in the way the codes work depending on the games, i think it's related to the different types of interlacing but i'm still wondering:
for some games the pcsx2 window displays that the game is in progressive after applying the codes, but for other games the pcsx2 window displays that they are still interlaced after applying the codes, I tested with Shadow of Rome and the only effect that the codes seems to have is to remove the shaking but does not change the image quality (or too slightly) and the resolution of the screenshots does not change either (512x224 for Shadow of Rome) while that games for which the pcsx2 window displays that the game is in progressive after applying the codes have significantly better image quality, does that mean that some games can't really be non-interlaced but only have bob deinterlacing without shaking at most, or am I just misunderstanding?
Is there a GTA San Andreas no interlace code for PAL SLES-52541 version?

I made the port that Mensa published on page 7 but with the new versions of pcsx2 I haven't noticed anything. Is this:

Energy Airforce PAL and NTSC-J, the one I uploaded the other day broke FMVs and had silly requirements, these new ones don't seem to break anything and just work.
