Please taito memories 2 joukan.
The horrible filter kills this compilation.
Request
Onimusha Warlords (U) SLUS-20018 CRC A07A5057
Onimusha (J) SLPM-65010 CRC 4CFAB43B

Someone has requested this game(s), but since it has been ramastered (on PC/PS4/ETC), seems noone takes care of this game.
But still I want to try this ORIGINAL Onimusha 1...

And Ive tried to use CE and pcsx2 Debugger to do something, but I didnt make it.
I couldnt find anything like hexstring 08004264 or a 4 byte value 64420008 as asasega mentioned in the very beginning of this thread.

you'll never see codes for disabling bilinear filter... maybe codes for removing motion blur, flicker filter, bloom, but bilinear filter.............maybe someday

!! Use last PCSX2 dev build (fixes VU Clamp option required in gamesdb.yml) !!

+ Sharp backbuffer (notable in SW mode)
*pass sharp backbuffer image instead default final one.
*in HW mode bypass black lines bug, but videos still have vertical corruptted lines (PCSX2 bug) - SW is ok
+ Enable Progresive Mode + disabled interleacing call function
*videos run in progressive mode (common progressive hack method videos black screen)
+ included widescreen code (from widescreen archive)

code for European version will be updated next weeks, (search this thread for v1 code)

@EpixNext: look in my tutorial (signature) try easy step maybe works, if not i will take look that title some weeks.
Oh my god. Thankyou!
Can't seem to find any code for it in this thread, so I'm kindly requesting a no interlacing patch for the Japanese version of Onimusha 2. Thank you in advance!

Edit: Thank you! I should've searched using the game code. Smile
However, after changing the CRC to match my version (SLPM-65101) & loading the game, after the memory card check I just get a black screen.

Edit 2: Commenting out the line "patch=1,EE,20183584,extended,00007025" allowed me to get in-game, but there are horrible artifacts on most of the text, as well as heavy flickering on the HUD, letterbox bars & the main character's hair.

Edit 3: Which got solved by commenting out the next line, "patch=1,EE,2019C2F4,extended,24047900". Woops.
I get the sense this isn't optimal, though.

has posted patch for onimusha 2 (J)
A set of patches for various Gran Turismo games:

* Gran Turismo 4 Prologue (Europe) SCES-52438, CRC 0x3FB69323
* Gran Turismo 4 First Preview (Japan) PCPX-96649, CRC 0xE906EA37
* Gran Turismo 4 (Europe) SCES-51719, CRC 0x44A61C8F - enables in-game progressive mode (from the NTSC version), makes the game output PAL double strike during races as 480p SDTV is locked to 60 FPS, applies "fake progressive" (interlaced without shake) elsewhere. Unlike the existing NTSC hack, this does not make menus run at half the framerate. Framebuffer changes from the NTSC hack are not present here.
* Tourist Trophy (Europe) SCES-53372, CRC 0xCA9AA903 - this time, progressive mode from the NTSC version seems to be completely gone, so unlike GT4 PAL, this hack applies "fake progressive".

!! Use CRC Hack Level: None (Debug) for show effects are bypassed by option !!
+ Progressive mode re-enabled + disable interleacing fuction call.
+ sharp back/front buffer "image v3"
*function re-writed to show this sharp "buffer" instead default one (image is sharper/better notable in SW mode). (not E, or D codes required)
+ include widescreen fix code by nemessis2000
*require screen ratio 16:9 to be enabled in options, recommended enable PCSX FMV Aspect ratio override to 4:3 for videos correct aspect ratio.

This game have incomplete disabled progressive function, (PCSX2 console give error not support for other video modes)
so, i re-enable function, fixed it, also interleacing function is disabled, game not run interleaced func call in background.
*(only movies run ntsc but they are in full frame mode so, nop interleaced is required)

the game is better to play in SW mode, with back - "sharp framebuffer image" it looks better, (PCSX2 in HW mode has graphical bugs)
but for people want to test new workarounds, kojin made some codes, i ported to this version and can be enabled/disabled in gameplay.

!!Enable in PCSX2 > Upscaling Hacks "Round sprite: FULL and Align Sprite options"
for minimize missaligment effects and black lines *still thin vertical lines show in realtime-cutscenes.
+Add "partial workaround" for HW mode Bug black air-plane made by Kojin
!!this code is for HW Mode, not use in SW or graphic bugs will appear!!
Enable in HW Mode L3=On - L3+R1=Off in gameplay
- Sun is miss or weird textured (PCSX2 Bug) press F9 to change SW mode then press again to back HW mode sun is fixed.

For USA bypass interleacing codes are available in thread, for USA HW mode codes in "cheats thread".

it means game run in frame mode, (full frame each interval, not half frame like games shake up>down>up), so no interleaced code is required for this "type" of games.

Thanks for this!! Can I request NTSC-J of 5 (SLPS_254.18) and Zero (SLPS_256.29, requested already) as well? I followed your tutorial with this game (before finding this post) to no avail, maybe needed more time.
Requesting Onimusha Blade Warriors (US) please. I searched through the entire thread and saw that there was a patch only for the Japanese version (Onimusha Buraiden). Thanks!
Could someone possibly work on this game?
