it's not a matrix problem
it's engine's feature send zoom value to one function and then used it somewhere else
the projection is definitely calculated based off camera rotation and some other variables and I couldn't manipulate the inputs for a wanted result very well. I just chose the value that looked best for proper widescreen output at the usual camera angle. Jump to 80008200 if you need to jump out of the function to manipulate the calculations.

The second mode is not playable, the camera goes mad when changing weapons.
