So I'm just wondering, having used the Widescreen Hack for modern emulators, do any games actually do it well like PS2 games without causing garbage to appear on the edges? Tried it out in a few games, all had garbage or disappearing textures on the left and right 20% or so.
Nothing disappears in Vandal Hearts 1 or Saiyuki: JW for example.
That's good. Seems none of the games I want to play work with it. Too bad.

There is a widescreen patch (16:10) for Alundra on my website. But it works only on emulators.
Tried to use the Megaman legends one, got a RI Error sowing a bunch of junk on the screen. Weird.

The unfortunate results using the "Widescreen hack" built into Beetle PSX HW. Worst part is I get some stuff like this even without using Widscreen, I guess I didn't notice it back in the day, but it happens, not sure how your patch file would fix it.
If you Say: The ws hack of Spyro 1 (ntsc-us) doesn't run on my PSP...

Just disable the cheat, then enable It again after the Playstation logo. It should fix.

Ah, and do not apply only the gameplay, but do also the same for the HUD, stretching vertically FMVs, removing the cutscenes letterbox if possible. Can anyone knows How to port gameshark cheats from us versions to PAL or japanese versions?
