It is focused on making widescreen ports but it is also valid for this since it is the same. You can start with those that are already done and move forward.

The PAL Spain version works perfectly.
NTSC-U version with 1.7.5106, the loading screen remains looping, it is not a patch issue. Confirmed that it works fine with older versions of the emulator like 1.7.1598.

Both pnach are necessary since the game uses both executables

This worked perfect for me on lastest ver. 1.7.5109, no load screen looping on NTSC version.
Another game saved from 30fps jail Smile
It's surprisingly heavy though so kind of makes sense they locked it to 30. When lots of lighting effects go off it will drop in framerate even with a strong cpu and EE overclock. Stilll immensely more playable than the 30fps version.

Yes it's strange. It's a problem with my configuration, I even thought it was a bios thing and I just made a dump of my ps2 with the "biosdrain" program and it still didn't work, I left the bios unchecked in pcsx2 and it worked. Strange things, thanks for the warning!

I'd like to request a code for MGS3 Subsistence Japan. There's already a code for the US version, but I can't find one for the Japanese version, and I'm having trouble trying to port the code.

The asasega code from the ntsc version works fine if enabled only in game, it seems to send a progressive signal and causes the game to freeze at startup and during loading times. I found an address in the pal version that unlocks the fps and ported it to the ntsc version.
