Have you updated your direcx yet?

Hello, I have some problem, plugin SPU2-X 1.4 is loading normally, but cause pcsx2 (all versions) crash when I try to configure or test it. It crash also all newest beta at the start, but version 1.2 do not causing this problem. I wonder if its all fault of my 64 bit system or it's need to install something else to work correctly. I tested it on xp sp3 and vista x32 where it working, but on both XP x64, and Windows 7 ultimate x64 crashes pcsx2.

Yes, yesterday I updated dx using webinstaller.

Yes. As a matter of fact EVERYTHING got updated on Thursday, since I just built this machine.

Caylin, I had similar message, when I try to load SPU2-X 1.4(0.9.6) in xp sp3, then I install Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable, and it loading fine anyway even with it plugin makes pcsx2 crashes on Windows7. Without this you dont run any newer version pcsx2 than 0.9.6.

I installed that as well, and it won't load. I can get into games though and the games I've played work just fine. Just this one plug in won't work.

I had a problem with the 1.4, but here is the solution : go to 'Public Beta' in the main site, and download the latest plugin pack. (March 2010). Inside, there is a file called portaudio something, you need to put it at the root of your pcsx2 folder. It will now work

To anyone who's getting a plugin error for the most recent version of SPU2-X (1.4), perhaps I'll just make it easier for everyone by doing this, since updating DirectX doesn't seem to do anything: http://www.filefactory.com/file/b0ab76h/...noasio.dll

I hope you realize we include that dll in the plugin pack and the first post of this thread...
