Well im just wondering if this will run DBZ bt3 at decent fps
6GB RAM
Intel Core i7 2720QM
NVIDIA NVS 4200M

Well, I'm sure your CPU is about enough. Consider enabling the [Recommended] Speedhacks to help, though.

Your GPU is kinda weaker in general (and not technically made for gaming). Make sure you use native internal resolution, and you could be alright.

If the game is slow, I'd bet it'd be the GPU holding you back. Hopefully, native will make the difference.

So i'm on laptop with i7 with 4 cores and 8 threads and ati 6770 card. From monitoring i see that cpu is loaded for 30% and same for gpu. But GOW is not fluent, how can it be? Where should i look?

I am a new user, just downloaded and installed PCSX2 0.9.8.
Firstly congrats and many thanks for the work from the team.. I am a Tekken Tag fan, and got this emulator just for it!
I managed to play the game, but it runs really slow. I run the emu with Direct3d9(harware) but the emu crashes...
It runs properly when i set it to run Direct3d10(hardware) during the menus, but when i start playing the game my FPS drops to about 15, and the game becomes extremely laggy and unplayable... I also get this in the console during gameplay with red letters:
"microVU1 Warning: Branch in E-bit delay slot! [1ec0]"

I am usin the gsdx ss2 plugin as i got a core 2 duo laptop...
My specs:
sony vaio laptop vgn-fz38m
intel core 2 duo t8100 2.1GHz
3 usable(4DDr2) GB on 32 bit win 7 prof,
Geforce 8400M GT GPU

Is there anything i could do to ipmrove the gameplay.. I read something about loging off and logging on with more RAM???
How do i do this?
Any help please, would be really welcome!

There are lots of places to look.

Which i7 is that? Some have low clock rates.
What internal resolution are you at?
Are you even using Speedhacks?
Are you running straight from the disc?
What revision of the emulator are you using?
What is your laptop's Power Plan?

Sorry, but your laptop is pretty weak to expect much from the likes of the Tekken series on PS2, let alone Tekken Tag.

Which i7 is that? Some have low clock rates.

Internal resolution? Well i'm playing with "native" setting.

Don't know anything about speedhacks, i'm running from iso and i'm using latest one PCSX2 0.9.8 (r4600)

Have you even read the Configuration Guide yet? If you haven't, please read it now.

The very basics are well covered in there, including a run down on Speedhacks.

BTW - Your i7 is not one of the weak ones (2nd gens are nicer), but not many laptop processors are rightfully "Excellent" to emulate heavier games. Just don't expect too much, and let yourself be plesantly surprised sometimes (once you've learned to work the settings).

Not really. Most all of it is still relevant to 0.9.8. No worries.

The important thing to remember is to watch out for laptop performance settings, even plugged in many default to power saver (effectively underclocking or limiting turbo boost) which can badly effect PCSX2. Even at full turbo boost (2.9ghz) a sizeable portion of games will not run full speed and many other will get minor slowdowns in heavier sections.
