You will get slowdowns in mgs series, though...
u mean msg series are the highest PS2 requirement among all/most PS2 games?

not a chance unless you overclock that cpu to 3.8ghz or higher then maybe.
and im a dutchy too xD
hi there , went to GPU benchmark but I can't find any info on GTX 550 Ti. How well does it perform on gpu benchmark ? will it able to deal with some intensive graphic games like DQ , MGS or xenosaga ? Mostly will be in Full HD 1920x1080.
As for CPU . maybe will be waiting for 3570k else 2500k.
Thank you

Full HD = An extra tips off of 3x native resolution
MGS will not possible to be emulate in full speed, but as far as GPU go, DQ and Xenosaga will perform exceptionally well in full speed using 550 ti without speed hack, based on my experience in Radeon HD 6850 in case which perform on par with 550 ti. ( With a little overclocking tweaking on 550 TI of course )
I think you can wait for 3570K. The 22nm will allow for a up to 5.5 Ghz overclocking, but if you can't wait that long, a i5-2500K is fine too.

Thanks , I was worry whether a 550Ti will be able to emulate on Full HD .Having a Full HD monitor max 1920x1080. Up scale to 3x native ? really possible ?
Sometimes , 3x native will show some garbage on text wording ... found it FFX.
Hoping 3570K able to pump up a 4.5Ghz , enough for most MGS or xenosaga Dont mind some framerate drop scene as long as avg is >55 fps. Possible ?
btw , game such as Shadow of the Colossus or Zone of the Enders or GT3 , possible to have native 3x too ?
Thank you
You should really be opening a new thread with all the questions you have.
This isn't a thread for general support.
It's purpose is a place to ask "How will this PC handle the emulator?"
Or, likewise, a place to find various systems posted, and assessed.

haha , my bad
, anyway as long as 550Ti able to handle those game even with 1x native , I am already satisfied.
Thanks guys
Graphic Card: AMD Radeon HD 5750 is not listed
And read twice
please add a specification in the thread.
In general AMD radeon GPUs are not mentioned...
Edit: ATI radeon is the same as AMD
just found on google :| sorry... i have 4570> [5750] so i'm fine
and have i3
Hmmm...
I thought the 5000 series was still branded "ATI"...
Maybe I'm mistaken, or perhaps a few 5000 series cards made after the transition with the 6000 series got the new "AMD" branding.
The 5750 will do nicely, especially coming from a 4570.
I'm sure you should get at least 2x native resolution with just about any game,
and a little higher yet with some.
Processor: i7 2600
Ram: patriot 4gb
hdd: seagate 500gb
vga: AMD Radeon HD 5450 1gb ddr3
how about that?
is it work well in this games?
