Can this run pcsx2 at full speed.
This thread is not meant for jokes. It is for people that want a realistic idea of what to expect when emulating a ps2 game.
ok I stop with joke anyway how good will 1.8GHz 4th-generation Intel Core i7-4500U processor with 4MB cache, up to 3.0GHz work at low res?
It should be ok for some games though in a lot of games it will stugle.
but will it do better then Intel® Celeron® Processor B830 (2M Cache, 1.80 GHz)?
Will I be able to play crash the wrath of cortex ar tonelico 2: melody of metafalica ar tonelico 1 wild arms 4&5 at full speed?
Ar Tonelico and Wild Arms should be ok, but Crash Bandicoot won't run well at all.
so Crash Bandicoot worst out come is that it run at 40fps because that what it runs on Intel® Celeron® Processor B830 (2M Cache, 1.80 GHz) with no speed hack on.
Be glad you get that speed from an low power demand processor.
New user here. Would like to know how well these specs will run pcsx2:
CPU: AMD A10-7850K 4.0GHz
GPU: GTX 660 2GB
RAM: 8GB duel DDR3 1600MHz
Mobo: Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H FM2+ M-ATX DDR3
Hard Disk: 1TB SATA III 6GB/s 7200RPM 32MB Cache
Ideally, would like to run games such as Grandia III, Xenosaga series, Dragon Quest VIII at 3x resolution.
Thanks for any help and suggestions
