New pc build still saving for GTX 960
can i play games like valkyrie profile 2 on full speed with this build?
CPU:Intel i5 4460
GPU:Integrated Graphics HD 4600 (still saving for gtx 960)
RAM:8gb G.Skill Ripjaw x Dual stick 4gbx2
Mobo:ASUS B8M-Gamer
and what resolution for full speed?
You will expect some slowdowns. But it's more because of how VP2 is emulated than because your rig is weak.
It's quite a good one for most games
I hope a "how good will it work" will not get me a warning
So my HTPC has a Core 2 Quad Q9450, an HD7850 and a 16GB DDR3 ram. Am wondering how good will
demanding games work on it... Should I dare and try 1080P or am I just dreaming? Which resolution do you recommend to stick to in order to avoid disappointments?
(on a scale of 1 to 10 were 10 is the best experience once can get from pcsx2, where would you put this humble build?)
Am a collector, I have numerous games from multiple genres. I am weighing PCSX2 upscaled cost for games like Kingdom Hearts and Shadow of the Colossus against buying the HD remastered for these games. I also have several games in my collection that I still haven't touched, so am thinking whether I can use PCSX2 for them or not (would be lovely as my TV cabinet is already crowded with the PS3 (not backward compatible), PS4, 360 and Wii U
Hi Guys!
First thing's first, as you could guess from my username, I'm a huge KH fan. I'm planning to buy the new Dell 15 7000 series (i7559) and was wondering how well would it be able to play KH Final Mix and KHII Final Mix on it.
The specs are:
Processor: 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6300HQ Quad Core (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz)
Ram: 8GB Single Channel DDR3L 1600MHz (I might put in another stick of RAM to make it 16GB)
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
Will I be able to play it full speed? Maybe even 2x resolution? Thank you guys for your time!
Should do well at 2-3x native. Just make sure to enable MTVU and the recommended speedhacks. If you need a bit more of a boost, put the EE cyclerate hack to 1 or 2. Also make sure you're running your laptop in high performance.
Ok guys, i hope i'm not posting on the wrong topic.
I'm trying to run GoW 1 on my rig and been getting pretty strange (at least for me) results. I'm playing a PAL version and the game usually goes from 50fps to 30 for no apparent reason, and aways in the same spots (i've tried to turn on and off the speed hacks, but nothing changes), slowing down movement. Is this reasonably for my pc?
Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8320 eight core... (Not OC'd)
GPU: Geforce GTX 970
RAM: 8gb (DDR3)
Sory for the poor english and if this has been answeared over and over, i'm just not finding anything in my searches.
Please open your own thread as not to clutter this one with support questions.
Support threads can get kind of long depending on the case, so that's why I'm asking.
Hi,
I'm new here but did try PCSX2 a while back on my 4 year old laptop. For anyone that may be interested:
Processor: Intel i5-480M @ 2.66 GHZ
RAM: 6GB DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics (in built)
Played a couple of games and they did work, quite slowly though. I did enable a couple of the speed hacks and it improved things a bit, but it didn't work for long because the i5-480M does tend to get very hot.
New setup is a Intel i7-4510U @ 2.00GHz (3.10GHz on turbo), 8GB RAM and Intel HD 4400 Graphics (again inbuilt). This setup seems to run a lot cooler than the old one did. Will it run better than the 1st gen i5?
