About 7800X3D coming soon, that i will buy, for a 650E-E Strix and a 4070ti...
... do this CPU has some advantages for game's emulation, like AVX-512 (PCSX2 uses AVX512 ?) by exemple !?
Thanks.
It's only been about a week, I was playing GT3 it crashed so I accepted the emulator updates after ignoring previously. Now I can't find the exe file. I redownloaded it and i could see the .exe file and before I could click on it, it disappeared again. Could this be a virus threat related to my PC issue?

I tried Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution and it's a slideshow. Dipping into 20ish FPS sometimes, so I'm doubting 3D games are even an option with this configuration.
I may have a 2D game like Guilty Gear X2 laying around, but I'm not gonna waste much time testing what may or may not work, since VF4E was the actual main reason I wanted to use PCSX2 with this old laptop .
Thanks for your reply!
Hi, I want to buy a laptop to run PCSX2 but I’m quite lost. From what I understand it runs mostly on the CPU right?
I’ve spotted a few second hand laptops: one is a i5 9300H 2.4GHz turbo boost 2.0 with a GTX1650, another is a i7 7700HQ with a GTX1050 and the last one is a i7 6700HQ with a GTX1060.
Could you please tell me which one is the best for PCSX2?
Thank you.
Of course it’s gone
Now they have a i5 11300H 3.10GHz also with a GTX 1650 and 16 go of RAM for around 500$. Can’t find a proper answer on the web. Can you help please?
i5 11300H is a decent enough of a processor for emulation... The absolute monstrous games will stutter but they chug even on top spec builds (looking at you GT3 night races) The rest of the specs are solidly in the midrange, though the price is reasonable for what you would get there...
I am of a strong opinion that you should not be buying a laptop with the primary criteria to be able to run PCSX2. Honestly, it should be the least of your reasons, weight, battery life, construction quality, thermals and size should be your considerations instead.
