I just want to say that the emulator plays on my laptop just fine only with the occasional screen freeze. to fix that pause then resume NP. I am running a dell inspirion 15 3537 intel core i5-4200 cpu 1.6GHz boosted to 2.3GHz, 6 GB ram, 64 bit windows 8.1, on-board graphics 4400 HD. I also want to say how awesome you guys are for doing this.
Seriously guys but do you always need to be so grumpy when replying.
Who's grumpy?
Sometimes our replies are short and very to the point, but that's because we answer so many of the same question.

Yeah, I've been in a pretty good mood most of the summer. Like Blyss said, most of my answers are fairly short because I'm saying the same thing quite often.

If I had contributed only 53 times in the last 5 Years, I guess I would post longer answers
I'm interested in playing MGS 2 and 3. Is this enough to run them at full speed?
i7-4700MQ @ 2.40 GHz
8 GB RAM
GeForce GT755M

Uh, is there a particular bottleneck or is my system inadequate all-round?
Give it a shot, but those games bring even super powerful systems to their knees.
For a laptop, your rig should handle most games okay. But the MGS games as I said, are system killers.
