Weird issue I just noticed, that there are two different ps2hw.dat files for shaders. One is the original one in the zzogl/opengl folder that is 104.5 kb, and the other one in the plugins folder is 104.2 kb.

Why are there two different shader files? Is the one in the zzogl/opengl folder the correct one? I have current SVN in Linux and rev 162 of ZZogl. The one labelled default plugin is the one found in the bin/plugins, and it is clearly different from the ps2hw.dat found in zzogl/opengl.
Both of them working. But! With old shaders file interlacing modes would not work properly and sometimes non-bilinear picture became screwed. New shader file, if you use it with ZeroGS lead to some font's issues. Working shader -- in bin/plugin directory.
Note: form 1.06 there is a big chance that my svn would be down for unknown time. So if someone need sources, download them before 1.06.
There is a bug in ZZogl (Rev 162)/ZergoGS(SVN 1280) with FFX PAL versions, including my Australian international version. The GSLog states that it failed to create bitmask textures, although that cannot be the only bug, because wireframe mode doesn't help at all. No AA/Bilinear filtering, 640 x 480 resolution, ZergoGS has the same problem.

Has all the gory details and savegame. 0.9.4 does get past this point with no problems.
Hello
I,ve tried to run God Hand on my Arch, and it runs almost great, even with disabled speedhacks. But herre is one problem. When the game shows some 2D stuff (menu or map) and go back to 3D, it looks like this: [Image: df7895b12654e84fm.png][Image: cecb0de50ca33ad9m.png]
gsLog and emulog are clean.
Is there a way to fix this with some magic checkbox Tongue2?

Thanks for your help.

Notes:
ZZOGL appears to have issues taking screenshots in both BMP and JPG, but I have included the "attempted" screenshots anyway, and produced Fraps-based screenshots just incase. Sound is completely disabled (SPU2null).

Also with ZZOGL, when I start a game, stop it (ESC), then start it again I get the following error: [SHUTDOWN ERROR] Release Device Context Failed. {OK}
Click {OK} and the game starts. Sometimes when I stop the game after this I get another (different) error. I cannot reproduce it right now (it seems to come randomly or something).

Tests:
ZOE1 --> GSdx
100% at intro and menu, 20 to 30fps when fighting raptor in singleplayer, instantly 100% after having killed raptor and viewing from cockpit (except around 30fps when looking at the center of the room [gsdx_20090531132950.bmp]), 20 to 26fps in VR Training. It seems that when Jehuty/orbital frame is rendered the FPS drops by a wholesome amount.

ZOE1 --> ZeroGS
100% at intro, menu, singleplayer and VR Training, incorrect fog color (similar color in ZOE2) at beginning part of singleplayer where you fight your first raptor. Unfortunately I was unable to get into the singleplayer when redoing my screenshots -- earlier I was able to, but now I am having repeated failure in getting past the singleplayer intro (which freezes shortly after it begins, but the video plugin continues to show that it is actively rendering around 60fps; pressing buttons will not help, proceed or skip this section once it has frozen).

ZOE1 --> ZZ Ogl
100% at intro and menu, 20 to 30fps in VR Training, 10 to 25fps in the first part of singleplayer where you fight your first raptor (30 to 50fps when in cockpit view and raptor is gone, 60fps/100% when looking down or close up at a wall). Has a 1px horizontal scanline glitch in the middle of the screen during the intro.

ZOE2 --> GSdx
40fps in VR Training, 100% at intro and menu, 30 to 40fps in singleplayer, correct colors for atmosphere and fog.

ZOE2 --> ZeroGS
100% fps at intro, menu, VR Training, and singeplayer (30fps after you get Jehuty/orbital frame and begin fighting drones and raptors), incorrect colors for atmosphere and fog.

ZOE2 --> ZZ Ogl
100% fps at intro and menu, 24 to 36fps in VR Training and singleplayer, NVIDIA overlay in singleplayer is so bright that it's virtually impossible to see (overlay problem is in VR Training too, but at least you can barely make out what you are doing).

Other Comments:
Very nice to see that someone who can do something is doing something about continuing OpenGL support for PCSX2, even though it doesn't seem to be better in my case than ZeroGS (but hopefully this shouldn't be a long-term problem, no?).

This plugin has my support.
Today, for the first time I tried to check out the svn version of ZZogl as described in the first topic. I'm on gentoo, and this is the output:
Code:
$ svn co http://sanechka.spb.ru/svnroot/ruslan/zerogs/ .
svn: OPTIONS of 'http://sanechka.spb.ru/svnroot/ruslan/zerogs': could not connect to server (http://sanechka.spb.ru)
Seams like the server is down.. How can I get the source of ZZogl?

doh!
First of all: I'm sorry, I've read from the first page up to the 25, then I've posted...
Second: It's the first time that I try to catch the sources, and I'm out of a day! lol...
