(08-26-2013, 12:42 AM)Z_Boy Wrote: [ -> ]- after wasting 2+ hours trying to apply the widescreen pnach for Persona 4, I understood that's because I used "Boot CDVD (full)" => PCSX2 seems to be unable to find the game CRC in this mode; so we have to use the (fast) mode to get the pnach to work! So why this crucial information isn't mentioned anywhere on the internet???
I used Full Boot and Persona 4 loaded fine. Make sure you're using the latest version of PCSX2.

Why not use PCSX2 instead?
The rest of the series for the PAL version.

I was wondering if it was possible to make the PS2 version of Persona 4 more like the Golden version.
Some things I noticed instantly are character portraits are slightly bigger in Golden, and the camera is zoomed in closer outside the TV.
Inside the TV (dungeons and battles), the camera distance remains the same in both versions.
It would be nice if there was a code to zoom in the camera in the PS2 outside the TV (would also help hide the moonwalkers).
I also wish there was a way to make the battle portraits narrower, and possibly the weather/day HUD in the top right.

I think this is worth checking out. Just be a little patient.

A funny little side-effect while playing the Resident Evil Outbreak series is that the item icon in the bottom left isn't actually in the circle.
Not sure if it can be fixed. I found an address which changes the size of the icon, but nothing that can make it move left/right, or the X-axis coordinates of the item.
