would someone a little more knowledgeable be able to break down what some of this stuff is doing and find the value setting the aspect width to "16". I'm looking for more of an education so I can repeat the process for lots of games as apposed to just the 21:9 fix.

I found a different address for widescreen. It seems to be working properly in pcsx2, but
the only problem for me is that it is freezing on the loading screen on my ps2 console.

Would this be a case where I need an additional conditional code to pass the loading screen?

I actually had help from denben0487 (gamehacking.org) a while back but forgot to update the forums here.
This code has better geometry aspect ratio and I tested it with your pnach code from the de-interlacing thread.

It works properly except the 480p code. Not sure if the interlacing code is actually de-interlacing on a PS2 console.

i have not fully enabled  progressive mode - nop internal interleacing function because PCSX2 has graphic bugs when this is called,  meanwhile
i add partial progressive mode (required for code) and workaround to partial bypass interleacing function, works ok on PCSX2 but maybe PS2 console can access another way to interleacing function, also i disable call backbuffer in the game (part responsable of 2d HW bug)  maybe this cause too, i made the codes mainly for PCSX2 but try disable 2d workaround and code with tag "//sk alt fb pw" - "//bp. interleacing" - "//Bp. PCSX2 bug gameplay HUD 2d in HW mode" if testing in console; about the game is a field rendered game but i manage to find the front/sharp framebuffer and can access to full frame 512x512 so i add to code too (game looks better) try in SW for comparision.

I have an issue with Battle for Bikini Bottom. When i enable the Widescreen Patch for it, it causes TLB misses for some odd reason when the game boots up, Otherwise it boots up fine if i disable the hack
As you may know, widescreen fixes for GTA San Andreas has a side effect when you flies or driving at the high speed like this picture below:

Do you know if it is possible to fix a similar stutter/shift that happens to GTA 3 NTSC U version when using the widescreen code from the archive?

It only happens when you aim at characters and shoot. When you shoot the camera goes crazy and starts to shift.
