I notice there's a 60fps hack in the archive, since I don't have Kingdom Hearts I don't know how well this works... are there any glitches caused by it? And has anyone attempted similar hacks on other games or have tips on finding the address?

There are some really rare occasions that the game will hang but will work once you disable the code. Also PS2 isn't really able to mentain 60fps constantly so it's not very universal. It'd work though perfectly if we were able to move the speedhacks bars to the left side and overclock EE/GS. I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy XII can get a 60FPS hack too but without a proper VPS counter it makes my work to find the value/address impossible. I found the values of the KH1/2/RCOM codes by "copying" (and hoping it would work) the idea I tried on BBS that both the hardware PSP and the emulator can show actual FPS at the moment you work with 'em.

Oh right I forgot emu is limited by PS2's clockspeed. Would definitely like to see an OC option and more 60fps hacks in the future. I was messing around with SOTC long ago and discovered that the FPS cap fluctuates depending on PS2's clockspeed, so for some games you may not even need to do anything but OC the PS2

Yea for that area. Then you are going to need to find them again for every single area in the game. The character icons are probably in the characters mdlx. They are in the MDLS in KH1. Not sure if the coordinates are there. I'm assuming they did it the same way. Never found them in KH1 . They were connected the the health bar and couldnt move them separately.
EDIT: Also what the heck is "KHBBS-NTSC-U-Widescreen" BBS isnt for PS2
