Got a little problem: How do I force an available hack onto a game?
I just saw that the Ar Tonelico II Retranslation was updated and got the urge to try it. Ripped my DVD, applied the patches, checked CRC and booted it up. No WS hack found. Tried my vanilla rip, WS hack found.
So how is the game identified? How can I change that?
The game is identified by its CRC. When a game is updated, the CRC may change.
So simply use the updated CRC - rename the widescreen .pnach file to the correct CRC.
Hello guys. I want widescreen of the following games. Thanks.
NTSC-U:
Terminator 3: The Redemption
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Backyard Wrestling 2
NBA Ballers: Phenom
Monster House
L.A. Rush
B-Boy
Tak and the Power of Juju
Tak: The Great Juju Challenge
NARC
Blitz: The League
King Arthur
Reign of Fire
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects
The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee
Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2
Wakeboarding Unleashed featuring Shaun Murray
B-Boy already has widescreen, set BIOS to 16:9 and do a full boot.
You should ensure all of those games have no in-game widescreen (either in-game or through full boot BIOS).
Is there something wrong with the ingame widescreen option in WipEout Fusion (PAL)? I turned it on, but nothing seems to have happened.
Hey guys. Are you interested in 21:9 codes? I did one for Drakengard 2 and one for Warriors Orochi 2. The screenshots were taken in DX11 Software-Mode.
Warriors Orochi 2
4:3 (1440x1080)
16:9 (1920x1080)
21:9 (2560x1080)
Drakengard 2
4:3 (1440x1080)
16:9 (1920x1080)
21:9 (2560x1080)

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare has 2D pre-rendered 4:3 backgrounds, so it's impossible to widescreen hack it.
