Thank you Red_Tv (REALLYÂ COOL CODE)
Do these work on the NTSC-U version? I'm guessing they don't as, comparing the -J and -U versions' widescreen patches, those do seem to have different (although similar) values for some lines.
If not, could someone convert them, or tell me what I'd need to do so myself?
Also, does the 60FPS patch work flawlessly, or does it introduce any anomalies as such patches often do?
Edit: My apologies, it appears one has been made (though the link to it on the secondary list of patches is broken - it's on the previous page to what it says it is)
If I may ask, what's the difference between a "no interlacing"Â and a "progressive scan" hack? They appear to be separate things in this hack, but I always assumed they were the same.

"No interlacing" patch is basically for the games that uses "field rendering" method. "Field rendering" is a rendering method where the game draws two consecutive 240p images then "page flipped" it @ 60hz/50hz to create an impression of 480i images. The "no interlacing" patches nullifies the "page flipping" function and makes the game only renders the even/odd lines of that 240p images. It's basically kind of obsolete now that PCSX2 added support for motion adaptive deinterlacing which allows for sharper output at native res while kept the image mostly free of combing artifacts.
"Progressive scan" patches is basically forces the game to output the game at 480p. Only some games can be forced in this mode. Basically, the game that didn't use "field rendering" method can be forced to 480p.
Damn didn't know that, good to know we don't need no "no interlacing" patches anymore to get jitter free and sharp output, guess I can delete both onimusha 3 and dmc1 no Interlacing codes in theyre pnachs

Also apparently we still need no Interlacing pnachs and having deinterlacing disabled for that crisp sharp goodness....knew it lol, got me hyped for nothing
 - Hello good morning - I would like to know if any master here could direct me to the game's Widescreen code page ( Test drive unlimited - September 5, 2006 ) I've been looking for years for a way to make this legally purchased game original in Widescreen on Pcsx2 but I'm not successful - Some people say that it already comes with this 16:9 option but I'm not successful with the menu or key combinations - Can anyone help me please - I will thank you and be infinitely grateful - Thanks a lot in advance . . Happy New Year

requires Full Boot. Here are several patches to skip that and do it automatically including Test Drive. Cheers.

Speaking of Test Drive, I thought there was supposed to be a 16:9 widescreen option available for this game, but as it turns out, it wasn't the case. Not to mention, I cannot find any widescreen patches available for this game. So, I was wondering if it's possible that someone could create a 16:9 widescreen patch for Test Drive (SLUS-20213; NTSC release) a.k.a TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed (SLES-50778; PAL release). Especially the March 1, 2002 prototype build (CRC: 8DDF6840). Appreciate it!

I do have the WS fix for this game, only for the US later prints/greatest hits (v2.00) version of the game though.
After some googling, it seems that the original US release is also have same CRC as this one?
