Sorry, I didn't mean that in an offensive way.

I said PS2 patches, not patches. I'm not trying to diss your work on PS2 patches since you've done so much for us. But a lot of the patches on your site aren't updated, and you barely work on PS2 patches anymore. Instead, you've been working on PC and Xbox patches.

For example, this is the Kingdom Hearts 1 NTSC-U patch on your site:

I do my best to make the archive the definitive place to go for the most up-to-date patches.

Of course, a lot of the time, the patch on ps2wide.net is the same as the archive. However, there's a lot of patches in the archive which are superior to ps2wide.net. I'm not going to cross-check every single one.

Don't you see where I'm coming from? Ps2wide.net is redundant, and in some cases, contains inferior patches. Of course, you can keep do whatever want with ps2wide.net, but I think I have a point here.

outdated only kh and not so necessary things in few other titles

work and even update critical stuff in some pnaches but due to a reason that its all "too trivial" I don't bother myself with updating hex stuff, changelog and even with releasing some non critical stuff

now only working on Xbox titles because situations with SH3 widescreen patch for PC shows that work on ws patches for PC is just waste of time

I have a question. Why do you HAVE to have your own independent site for PS2 patches? Why can't you just submit patches onto this forum so I can archive it, like everyone else? My archive, which has 2500 patches in it, is the one that is bundled with official PCSX2 builds, so it makes sense.

Also, updating PS2 patches without noting it in the changelog is a bad idea because then I don't notice. If there's anything you feel I might've missed, please tell me.

because its started like site for ps2 patches that works on real ps2 and so it will remain

There are some games that already have a widescreen pnach code posted in this thread (like "Thunder Force VI", "Disney's Kim Possible - What's the Switch?", "Rampage - Total Destruction" and some others) that they are not inside the archive. When was the last time you update it? How often do you update the archive?

I strongly recommend against downloading PS2 patches from ps2wide.net since all of them are in my archive, and the archive is kept up to date.

My last update was a month ago. I updated it just now.

I usually update once every 2-3 months.

Also, before this year ends, I plan on double checking ALL my patches with ps2wide.net to ensure everything in the archive is updated with it.

So Nemesis, from now on, PLEASE TELL ME if you plan on updating any more patches. Please keep the changelog up to date.

Actually, I just went through all of ps2wide.net and updated the archive accordingly. Here's what's new/updated:

- Prince of Persia series
- Tekken 5
- Wild Arms 3

Is the current Red Faction NTSC-U code on ps2wide.net better than ElHecht's in the archive?

Just because you have free will, it doesn't mean you have to be uncatering.

All it takes is 20 seconds to jump onto PCSX2 forums, enter this thread, write a post saying "Devina, I updated the patch _____ on ps2wide", and be done. Seriously, that's it. You have no excuses.

Also, you totally ignored my questions about Red Faction and Splinter Cell.

Also, why the unwarranted hostility to me? Sometimes, you act like I pissed in your coffee or something. All I'm doing is trying to make an easy-to-download updated archive of all patches. You act like me telling someone I recommend not downloading PS2 patches on your site because some of them are not updated is equivalent to me killing your first born child or something. Maybe if you dropped the attitude, we could actually get somewhere. I already said I was sorry, but that doesn't seem good enough for you.
