I have a problem with Onimusha 3 (PAL), pcsx2 crash after loading new game in HW mode, even in OpenGL or DX. No problems in software mode.
I usually use OpenGL HW, if I select PAL 60Hz mode in game, pcsx2 crashes after that, if I select 50Hz mode, pcsx2 crashes after loading new game like DX11.
(same problems on Onimusha - Dawn of Dreams)
¿There is any solution to play in HW mode?, software mode looks so ugly.
I hope you can understand me, my english it's not very good.
Regards.
I can confirm this, GSdx crashes. Have to check out which rev broke it
are hw hack enabked?(preload frame ?)
Nope no hacks on, happens with both DX and OpenGL HW modes.
Thanks, have you find a working pcsx2 version?
Merry christmas.
Ok I have found a solution to play in HW mode Onimusha 3 (PAL).
In HW mode, if you select resolution x2 native or more pcsx2 crashes, but if you select native pcsx2 doesn't chrash.
So i was select "custom" and the game works fine, but anything superior to 1024x1024 make the emulator crash.
Almost 1024x1024 in HW mode is better for me than native resolution.
So the problem is when GDSX plugin scales the internal resolution in this game.
I hope this will help to find a solution.
By other hand Onimusha 4 - Dawn of Dreams is still unplayable (black screen even in software mode)
Regards.
That's useful thanks. Dawn of Dreams should work on if you have Enable automatic game fixes checked (if it still doesn't post your SLES code here, on the console bar when you run the game)
Onimusha 4 works fine here.Which pcsx2 version are you using and what is your video card
It's onimusha 4 Pal version, SLES_820.38, Game CRC = 0x812C5A96. CPU: i7 4790k, GPU: Nvidia GTX960, PCSX2 version 1.3.1: Latest build from git (20151225) with automatic game fixes enabled.
After videos when you can play the game I only can see the hud (life and magic bars, etc) but the screen is black, the same in this thread:
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Bug-error...-of-dreams
But I think is not GDSX bug because it's the same for me in SW mode, but in SW mode the black screen it's like a moving blur...
I hope you can understand me.
You can try playing with vu settings (sVU vs mVU, clamping rounding) and if that doesn't work play with manual gamefixes.
